Elundar was still laying down, it was not like he was going to get a shot at his under belly, he also knew him for aiming for the eyes. He readied himself in case that was his plan. "We could just not," he said, still laughing. "I am far too tired to waist time on this."

It became clear to Aerin. The dragon had a weakness, he was covering it up by stalling. He moved the drawn bow to aim for the hard scaled stomach and released.

The dragon's stomach was not even shown! The dragon had been laying down, the arrow hit where the chest and neck met, and bounced off.

He continually shot in the same place. He had plenty of arrows.

Elunder just lay, watching for a moment as he shot. His scales had gone down that far, but he assumed he would rather not let him keep shooting near where the run off lay just a bit under him. He put down a massive arm, covering the place where he had shot. He made careful not to not let his eyes be shot at either.

He pulled out the sword and went charging for the dragon.

The dragon blew smoke on him, a threatening warning to not make him burn the land down.

((Elundar was Toby's pet last time, and I think Ilsa wants that to happen again so you'd have to ask her, but he could shrink last time so it was easy to be a pet. He has his own overbearing self pride you'll need to get by this time. You could try Viate[she would eat him the second he said pet, or tatsuo [who would be more interested in a trade agreement]))

Toby was sort of eyeing them both like they were mad. He finally managed, "There's no way back?" very quetly, like they might attack him if they remembered he was there.

((The thing is Hex actually does want to care for him, I don't know if you remember but remember how like, Aerin knew his dad and all, I guess that could work out...but yeah! DRAGONS! Let's talk.

I'd like to find a dragon who likes long walks on the beach and romantic dinners...

Anyway, idunno, power hungry like Aerin, not self indulgent though, cause with something that actually that amazing it just comes across as jerk-ish... Uh how bout he's like a smaller dragon that uses cunning and intellect. Independent, black as night, love for gold (of course), doesn't necessarily enjoy the suffering of others, just mentally incapable of feeling sorry; sociopathic, good sense of humor, powerful, smart. Yea...ya know... Silver eyes would be cool.

Also, I like to write a lot and names are of course important. I love unnatural repeating vowels like "ii" "aa" and "uu" but "ee" and "oo" are already widely used. I like to start names with "Ae" I don't know why I just think it looks really good. And consonants you wouldn't normally put together are good. I'm thinking a harsher name as opposed to an elegant one. So it shouldn't start with "Ae" for repeating vowel I like "uu" for harsh names. Plus some "k"s and hm, odd consonant connections... I also don't like "g"s...how bout...I dunno, I'm bad with harsh sounding names...what do you got?))

Elundar thought he'd had enough of his foolishness, he'd find a less annoying place to stay. He took the chest and flew off. Conveniently enough, some other dragon was doing her best to be silent as she slithered among the tress, like a bus through cars. The vines and arms of trees sharking as the spikes along Aeronwyn's spine as she hit them.

Toby was out with Hex, tentatively backing away from the strange man. "I want my sister... If you know where she is."

"I'm sorry, I don't know where she is but I promise she is safe. Now, it's getting dark out and bad men come out at night. So, you have to be brave. You can look for her tommorow but you need a place to stay for the night". He looked up and saw that dragon fly over them.

Aerin smiled. He could already tell this one was going to be a keeper. He actually meant it this time when he said "You are on private property, and your an animal, meaning I have legal jurisdiction over you. I own you, you are now my pet.

Hex hesitated. When he retreated to New Zealand he read a lot in his spare time. He felt like a charecter going through plot development... "No, I'm not a bad guy" he felt weird saying that. He had ruined a few families on his way here to Bree. Was he becoming good? He actually felt something odd for the little guy...

The dragon gave him an "are you kidding me?" look, the proceeded to shoot fire at him, making quick work to get rid of him.

"You are a smart boy. I have a room in Bree, and a mansion just outside of it." Hex said to Tony, he was looking through Aerin sat the same time. "And there might just be a dragon over there, you can choose."

Aerin smiled. Dragons these days... "No, I am not kidding, by law I own you. What were you planning to do here? I've already had to deal with one dragon today and I don't want to have to deal with another."

" I am not responsible for what other dragons do, and nor are you responsible for me. I fear taming me is something I will not commit to either," she growled.
