I like this is a book that I would love but I did not understand the metaphors at all. It was like I was staring at a deep meaningful painting that I want to understand but I just don't.

I may be in the minority but I loved Peter Van Houten the most. Of course I hated him at first.. If you think of this whole story tho from his point of view.. he just has so many layers to him.

I really liked this book, but I read it in about less than 48 hours, and I felt that the meanings and characters didn't sink in as much as I would have liked them too. I'll probably read it again sometime but taking it slower.

I love John Green, but Looking for Alaska was definitely my favorite so far.

Up to chapter 7 (view spoiler)[ Why is Augustus so perfect?? Honestly, everything he does is just amazing. I agree with Hazel, he can be a bit over the top, but I think that adds to his charm. He's just genuinely a nice person, and doesn't seem to care what people think about him, apart from the people he cares about. Yay him for using his wish to go to Amsterdam! Just proves how perfect he is (hide spoiler)]
