C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 43 comments I have been reading an edition of Dracula with the same ISBN number

(0451523377) but curiously has a slightly different cover. Both are Published by Signet Classics.

It doesn't have the label across it saying it is the 100th year anniversary like the one listed on this site and the Page Total is 380 pages.

Just wondering if either detail is worth adding a new edition or just changing the page total in the one listed.

Lobstergirl Whether it's worth adding a new edition for a slightly different cover is really up to you. Some people like to shelve the exact cover they're reading, other people don't really care.

As for pages, it is conceivable that two editions with the same ISBN but slightly different covers could have different pagination. It could also be the case that since one total is 380 and the other total is 382, either you or the other record is miscounting by 2 pages. At any rate, a difference of 2 pages really isn't enough to get worked up about.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 43 comments I know 2 pages isn't much of a difference but I think there are people like me (possible OCD) would appreciate doing their page goals and seeing that it ends on the same amount of pages. I also find little things like the altered cover fascinating but also think it is kind of important that it be included on here too.

Just saying and I did check that this book actually ends at 380 pages (it doesn't even have stray pages at the end that are blank which I would let this situation slide if that was the case).
