scribd audio credits: return when finished with book?

Since Scribd audio credits are really rentals can subscribers return audiobook and use credit for another item? I'm inclined to say no but thought I'd ask. I still subscribe mainly for comics. Otherwise I would've cancelled when Scribd switched to credits.
