I read it and personally loved it. I loved the action and adventure side of it and Thomas' limited knowledge about himself made it more mysterious for me :)

Yeah, I'm almost done the book, but it might take a while since I switched my main focus on the Rangers Apprentice series (those of you who know my reading style know that I normally read 3-4 books at once)

I recently tried to read the series because I know the movie is coming out, but I could only read the first book. The second one I couldn't get past the first few chapters :(

I saw the movie before reading the book, and didn't know it was a series until I got to the end of the movie. It was pretty obvious then that it's a series! Sounds like people here really loved the second book - I'll check that out!

I'm starting the first book now :) I have already seen the movie :S I usually try to read the book before I see the movie though so I will have to finish the trilogy before the next movies come out

Finally got around to begin reading it! Im only at chapter 20-something (quite short chapters, by the way), and I'm loving it. Guess I just needed to see the film first, ehe.

Just finished the first book. Then watched the movie. After Ben is banished, I'm just sitting there, sounding like the tenth Doctor, saying "What?!" Over and over again. I love both a lot but I'm gonna have to stop comparing books to movies. I know some things in books are hard to turn into a live action scene but they went way out of bounds. Still good movie though.
