Everything that I have downloaded recently which should take me FOREVER. I like to savour a book though and not be put under pressure to finish it. Books deserve that. ;-)
Well, currently done 8 for this month, but some where my classic favorites again, but I'm aming for about 100
Yeah and now its 9! hehe, but this will soon stop, as I will be too busy :(
Jip, and I hope to read in all my off time :)
Wow, 9 books... I'm so envious, I've only finished 1! Every now and then I want to quit my job and go back to working part time in a bookshop just so I can read more.
I'm contemplating sleeping less and reading more, and if you knew me you'd know my sleep time is sacred!

I'd love to do that too! If only it paid better...
I thought I had been a slacker so far this year, but now that I look back I have read 5 books so far. (Which is still pretty slack for me!)I'm aiming for 120 thats 10 a month which I think is totally do-able. I was going to say 150 but then I thought why put pressure on myself, once a slacker always a slacker!
Anyway I think if you work at book shop you have to do things like stock take, and shelve packing! But hey this is a fantasy job right- so in my book shop Robert Pattinson is my co-worker and his sole duty is to feed me lindt chocolate! Hell for that deal I'll work for minimum wage!!
Denell wrote: "My dream job is working in a bookshop and getting to read all day long!" Why work? when you can spend your time at the library and still read alot of books, all day long, lol

I am currently reading Brian Jacques, "the angel's command" not my kind of book, but hey just letting some grub into my mind.I intend reading something on love, marriage, relationships, so dishing out all the romance novels after this intend to do at least 9 within the month. What can i say i read fast and write slow.

It's September and I'm on 47 books for the year. I'll set a modest goal for myself: 55 books in 2010.
I think my goal is 100, and hey presto, I'm at 65 already... so I better start reading. But Exams are comming up, luckily ending in November, so I'll have time after that to relax and read
I know right! They mess up everything (cross face)
Hehe, that would be fun, but the book I had to read for my subject of English was The Great Gatsby, so I'm done...
reading a text book isnt as much fun, trust me :)
I'm currently reading about victimisation which is interesting (Criminology is my favorite subject) but I've got to get started with my Sociology and I'm not a great fan of the subject

So do I, I hate sociology, and developmental studies oh and understanding African Languages... super boring but they are the subjects that I have to take, next year will be much better
Ooh, I love reading challenges! My goal was to read 100 books and I'm on book 93 now. I also have exams through Oct-Nov, so I think I'll set a separate goal for December (last year's was 25 books and I barely made it with 23!). Now I just have to come up with a list and I'm set. =)
That's awesome, we have loads of reading challenges here! You should check them out: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_...At the moment we're also voting on themed reading challenges for 2011: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/4...
All the info about the challenges is on the voting page :)
It looks like we might start in November though.
I have a blog in which I set myself the goal of 100 books each year. It actually helps the process being able to write about it!

And then there are those of us who like having a look at everyone's blogs but are too lazy to make their own...
I've made it 52 books already, so I'll increase my goal to 60 books (and hopefully a few more reviews :)

well, to be honest, I've been working in one for the last 4 year while I studied and customers take up all your time... but access to books all year round is like being in heaven :)
I've just joined this group and can say I'm on book 13 for the year. Not quite as prolific as some of you here. To my redemption, however, I like my books juicy. The more pages, the better.
