I've already got The Longest Night by Andria Williams on request at the library---and I'm first on the list!
Actually, a lot of books I am reading for this challenge and this year will fit into this category but I have chosen "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini.Other's on my to-read list this year
The Girl on the Train
Tell the Wolves I'm Home
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
The Catcher in the Rye
Cinder
The Snow Child
The Bell Jar
Two of the ones that have been sitting on by to read list for a while are Sacrifice and The Golem and the Djinni so one of those for me I think.
I was going to use Daisy Fay And The Miracle Man (originally titled - Coming Attractions) - Large Print Editionby Fannie Flagg . I have always enjoyed her books, and the library has this one.
I will be using The Book of Speculation as it is slotted as my first book for 2016. I cannot wait to start it and I have New Years day off and I plan on relaxing and reading all day! I have lost my reading mojo and look forward to rekindle the reading flame in 2016.
I was given Tea Obrehts "The Tigers Wife" for Christmas by my sister in law and just started reading it. As far as I see it fit's into this category nicely.
I just finished Faith Bass Darling's Last Garage Sale by Lynda Rutledge which seems to be her first and only book so far. It was an interesting read about a woman coping with Alzheimer's. It deals with themes of the value of our possessions over our relationships and how the past impacts the present.
@Sharmon, I was also going to go for The Book of Speculation, but with this gorgeous cover
I hav decided to count it for the "book based on its cover" instead. For this category I will read Thirteen Reasons Why
by Jay Asher as it has been on my TBR for ages and it will briefly allow me go return to my favourite genres.
My Book Club's April selection is Ghost Moth, which fits this category. I really enjoyed this book - 4 stars!
