message 7: by Amy Beth (new)

Amy Beth I'll be reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt for this one.

message 8: by Sharmon (new)

Sharmon (tpgirl) I will be using The Book of Speculation as it is slotted as my first book for 2016. I cannot wait to start it and I have New Years day off and I plan on relaxing and reading all day! I have lost my reading mojo and look forward to rekindle the reading flame in 2016.

Ruth Schlegel | 4 comments I was given Tea Obrehts "The Tigers Wife" for Christmas by my sister in law and just started reading it. As far as I see it fit's into this category nicely.

message 10: by Sam F (new)

Sam F | 29 comments I just finished Faith Bass Darling's Last Garage Sale by Lynda Rutledge which seems to be her first and only book so far. It was an interesting read about a woman coping with Alzheimer's. It deals with themes of the value of our possessions over our relationships and how the past impacts the present.

Teresa (teremazon) @Sharmon, I was also going to go for The Book of Speculation, but with this gorgeous cover The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler I hav decided to count it for the "book based on its cover" instead.

For this category I will read Thirteen Reasons Why Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher by Jay Asher as it has been on my TBR for ages and it will briefly allow me go return to my favourite genres.
