For my first attempt at this challenge, I'm going to aim to read and review 12 books by AWWs, including two books by Indigenous authors and two by LGBTQI* authors.

Enjoy Emily! I've loved participating in the challenge for the past few years and I hope you will too.

Books 1 and 2 for 2016: Lucid Dreaming by Cassandra Page and The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville. I'll link to reviews as soon as they go up. I'm kinda pedantic about not putting more than once blog post up per day, and also about not putting reviews on GR until they're on my blog. I've been reading really fast lately, so my reviews are a bit behind my reading right now.

I have similar feelings - although I have definitely posted multiple times to my blog lately on days I've had time to write lately! Hopefully it will all even out - if I could schedule Goodreads reviews going live that would make things easier :)

Scheduling GoodReads reviews would be fabulous! I've been pretty good lately, but at times, I get totally behind on my cross-posting.

Book 3 for 2016: Mirrorfall (Require: Cookie #1) by Grace McDermott. This came highly recommended but sadly I wasn't a big fan.

Been absent for a little while but I am back with Book 4 for the year: Life in Outer Space by Melissa Keil (YA contemporary)
Book 5 of 2016: Captive Prince by C. S. Pacat. I've got to admit, this one made me feel a bit icky (NOT because it's M/M - my review goes into more details, though it's rather spoilery)
Book 6 of 2016: Viral by Helen Fitzgerald. It's just occurred to me that I'm exactly halfway through my goal and halfway through the year. I'd best keep an eye on that and make sure I continue to stay on track.
Book 7 of 2016: The Fictional Woman by Tara Moss. I liked it but felt a lot of it was treading familiar ground, at least in my experience.
Book 8 of 2016: Isla's Inheritance by Cassandra Page. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 10 of 2016: The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf by Ambelin Kwaymullina. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 11 of 2016: Am I Black Enough For You? by Anita Heiss. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 12 of 2016: Tallow (Curse of the Bond Riders #1) by Karen Brooks. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...In theory this means I have completed my challenge, but I am yet to read and review any books by queer authors. I did a trawl of the group bookshelf as well as going through authors on the diversity page on the AWW website, and I hope to remedy this soon!
Book 13 of 2016: Votive (Curse of the Bond Riders #2) by Karen Brooks. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 14 of 2016: The Birdman's Wife by Melissa Ashley. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 15 of 2016: Heat and Light by Ellen van Neerven. Review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...One more book to go to complete my challenge! (And I have it from the library already, so I'm halfway there!)
