I'm super excited to think on these as my first set of T5W videos! These are really clever topics.
Already made my top five list for all of these topics. I had to change the indie books to ones that I wish to read in the future; I've never read a self published book 0.0
These are great and I love the addition of a negative topic. I actually get a lot of recs from them.
LOL, thanks for including a negative topic each month. I think we'll have fun with those! And disappointing eye candy is a great one!
Will hopefully be getting involved in this again during the new year!
Fantastic topics this month! Very much looking forward to writing them. I'll struggle with the self-published week because I haven't read any, do you think it'd be okay to change it to indie books I'd like to read?

Thanks Trina for suggesting one negative topic a month and Lainey for going with it because, oh my goodness I'm more excited for disappointing eye candy than any of the other items this month it's that good a topic.(The other topics are good too!, January is going to rock!)
This probably sounds really dumb but how can I find out if a book is self published? I've probably read quite a few for reviews...

I've seen a lot of amazing BookTube videos on these topics so I'm thinking I'll give this a try this year. This might be hard for me though... I'm kind of bad at making lists like this!

So is the fandom one things we fan over or fandoms we are involved in? Like writing fic or cosplaying? I feel like this is probably a stupid question but I just want to make sure I'm not reading into it wrong.

You guys were wondering how to tell if a book is self published... It's a little tougher then it use to be because some of the smaller publishers aren't getting ISBN's for their ebook only books now, and self publishers are sometimes creating their own small indie companies so they look more pro... so basically it's getting to the point where you probably have read an indie book but you didn't know it unless you are active in the indie community and actually looking for that sort of thing.
For physical books you can check the inside where it lists the publisher and most indie published books will just list the author as the copyright.
Also on the amazon page the publisher will be listed and usually the publisher will say the authors name.
You might also check their website. Sometimes they will say so on blogs, podcasts, or other areas.
You can also google "best selling self published books" and find lists of self published books that hit the top charts.
