Hey!!!!!My name is Krystal and I'm new to the group, but let me say this group already looks like its going to be a BUNCH of fun! I didn't see any particular place to introduce myself so I hope it's okay to do it here. I'll make it simple. My name is Krystal. I love to read. This group looks like fun. There you have it lol. The basics.

Welcome Krystal! The comments and discussions alone make membership in this group worthwhile!

I should hope so. As a discussion board, that's pretty much what we've got going for us.
:)
Hello TC people! I'm Phil, and was just invited by Barb to introduce myself here. Looks like a fun group; I look forward to reading and contributing.Cheers.

And the membership dues are really reasonable.
Hello all. Finally getting around to introducing myself. I'm Chris and I live in Minneapolis with my almost 15-year-old (that's important!) son and our six pets. I teach swimming and I hate being cold!Looking forward to being here!
Six pets! You hate being cold and live in Minneapolis?!? Is your son a reader too?Chris wrote: "Hello all. Finally getting around to introducing myself. I'm Chris and I live in Minneapolis with my almost 15-year-old (that's important!) son and our six pets. I teach swimming and I hate being c..."

Sadly, my son isn't into reading. I'm still hopeful and every so often he finds a book he likes.
And yes, I ask myself every winter why I live here, when I really just want to be a beach bum in Key West.
Hi Chris! Chris is cool! She rescues adorable Collie Dogs!! I peeked at her blog and I love her already.
Hello? Is this thing on? Is this where I…Oh, yes, I see…it is.Well, hello! My name is Deborah Rae Cota, but please don’t feel the need to use the whole thing when referring to me. I answer to Deb, ‘D’, Debbie, Debster, and on occasion when I annoy my brother…Squirt.
My old friend, Jammies, (old in reference to how long I’ve known her and not her age...she is youthful, little sprite and not at all long in the tooth like some of my OTHER, older, friends) invited me to join…and here I be.
I look forward to lively conversations, and enlightening insights to all the current world events and news…and if not, just a good dirty joke on occasion.
Cheerz!
Welcome Deb! I'm sure you will find this club doesn't disappoint!Deborah wrote: "Hello? Is this thing on? Is this where I…Oh, yes, I see…it is.

Hello! My name is Casey. I'm a native Pennsylvanian that currently lives in Harrisburg with my husband, Stephen (not a reader, unless you count PC Magazine), and our cat, Atticus (he's not a reader either, although he does love to stand on magazines and paw them). I'm a newlywed and a thirty-year old that adores YA and middle-grade lit in particular.
Welcome Casey! I love middle-grade too. Especially fond of Angie Sage's Septimus Heap series right now. Look forward to seeing you around!Minx
Hi Casey! I'd love some good YA recommendations.
I have a student reading Crank right now - we need more after she finishes all 4 Ellen Hopkins that I have.
Also, I'm reading Tiger's Curse - do you know anything like it?

Hello Sally! What age is your student? I haven't gotten to Crank yet, although I'm intrigued by it. It's in verse, correct?
I met Casey over the weekend when she commented on my daughter's review of John Green's "The Fault of Our Stars." Casey wrote an excellent, and very personal review of John' Green's newest book and I encourage you all to read it if you're interested in YA Literature. Welcome, Casey!
Hi, Deb & Casey!I've fallen sadly behind when it comes to visiting this thread and jumping on the welcome wagon.
