There are several posted here and there - usually a thread started, several views, and no or little replies. Sally? RA? Do you delete those threads? (I'm guessing they don't because they don't seem like the type to be keen on censorship)

I think this thread symbolizes this group currently. Maybe what you are trying to accomplish would best be accomplished in the description.
Or you could go with Bun's suggestion.

That said, why do we need to delete/close/copy/paste reopen anything? What about this thread is particularly scary?
Because it is the only one marked "important" in the general section, it always remains on top and highly visible to all - especially upon their first entrance to our ficus-ridden cave.

Maybe I'll just add something that says "you don't need to read the whole thread" on the first post...the thread title might lead someone to believe he/she is supposed to read it all. Which would be...interesting.

You could clean up some of the threads that have not been used in a long time. But then again they do give you plenty of places to hide.
Between the threads and the ficus, we could hide for days.
Noooo... Old threads are great for rereading or referencing when wanting to bring up past discussions. That search function on the group page works well. I use that search function quite a bit. You'd be surprised what it'll pull up with the right search keyword combination. :)
