RandomAnthony | 14536 comments What I like about bay bay, and others of his/her kind, is the pure amount of work they put in the persona. There's commitment there. Well done...I mean that...it's like performance art.

Knarik ??????????? What is this????

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments That's what we all want to know, Knarik.

message 222: by Knarik (new)

Knarik I am greatful noone yet came to advertise his/her book.

message 223: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Well, actually, try other threads on here and you'll find what you're missing, Knarik... :-\

message 224: by Knarik (new)

Knarik yes, I missed that one Heidi! (:

message 225: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments There are several posted here and there - usually a thread started, several views, and no or little replies.

Sally? RA? Do you delete those threads? (I'm guessing they don't because they don't seem like the type to be keen on censorship)

message 226: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
We rarely do, unless they're overtly spamiffic. Usually they just don't get any replies and hardly any views and are immediately buried under regular threads.

message 227: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I don't know what to do about this thread, now, honestly, as it would probably scare the hell out of new people:)

Maybe I'll edit the first message saying you don't have to read the entire thread, just the first twenty messages or so is good enough...

message 228: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Sure good idea, Buns. I'm up for anything...Sally?

I think this thread symbolizes this group currently. Maybe what you are trying to accomplish would best be accomplished in the description.

Or you could go with Bun's suggestion.

message 230: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
I think any noob who reads the entire thread and ends up here with us is automatically initiated into the cult.

That said, why do we need to delete/close/copy/paste reopen anything? What about this thread is particularly scary?

Because it is the only one marked "important" in the general section, it always remains on top and highly visible to all - especially upon their first entrance to our ficus-ridden cave.

message 231: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I agree with Sally. Let it be. Or let it bleed. Whatever.

message 232: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Maybe I'll just add something that says "you don't need to read the whole thread" on the first post...the thread title might lead someone to believe he/she is supposed to read it all. Which would be...interesting.

message 233: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments too many threads to keep up with. feel free to delete any and/or all of ones that i have started

message 234: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments *rolls eyes* you guys prolly dont want to talk about bay bay anymore anywayz

message 235: by [deleted user] (new)

Don't roll your eyes at me in that tone of voice Kevin! ;-D.

message 236: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments You could clean up some of the threads that have not been used in a long time.
But then again they do give you plenty of places to hide.

message 237: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Between the threads and the ficus, we could hide for days.

message 238: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Noooo... Old threads are great for rereading or referencing when wanting to bring up past discussions. That search function on the group page works well. I use that search function quite a bit. You'd be surprised what it'll pull up with the right search keyword combination. :)

message 239: by [deleted user] (new)

hi scary cow is back to the group where everyone hates me

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Hi Bay bay!

How old ARE you, anyway?

message 241: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments maybe it's gary

message 242: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments Hey Bay bay, I hope know one has made you feel hated.

message 243: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments We don't hate you, we just are nervous around smiling cows.

message 244: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments I do actually get hungry around cows, but I will control myself.

message 245: by [deleted user] (new)

Jackie "the Librarian" wrote: "Hi Bay bay!

They don't seem inclined to answer this.

message 246: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments Is there more than one cow? I am going after some ketchup and mustard if there is.

Michelle wrote: "Is there more than one cow? I am going after some ketchup and mustard if there is."

No, just not being gender specific.

message 248: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I like that Michelle is ready to thin the herd, but not to take the last one.

message 249: by [deleted user] (new)

That must mean that she is feeling better if she's hungry.
