Welcome Katerina, please jump in with your thoughts whenever. You've missed nothing Ko, we actually all took abreak for awhile waiting for you too come back.
Hi all, I just arrived at the terminal and thought I'd say hello! I'm not too long on goodreads but this is the first group I've joined. I'm looking forward to an interesting group. Hoping to meet new friends and people who enjoy really good books.
hi There! My name is Joan, that's John in Catalan, and I live in Spain. So first of all, pardon my English because it is not my mother tongue. I have just been reading some of your threats and I'm pretty interested in this group since I'm very keen on culture in general and books in particular. I usually read on a kindle device because it is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to get books in English in Spain. Anyway, I've got used to reading on my kindle and I would not change it for anything. I won't usually contribute to your threats because I don't feel confident enough in English, but I'll try to follow them.
Sorry, late to the party. A warm TC welcome to Joan, William and AnnMarie. Please join in the fun, and share your perspective on all our ramblings.
Hi there. My name is Dana. Just registered on GR yesterday, and signed up w/ TC here today. I live down here in Austin, Texas where we take book reading seriously (not to say other localities do not ok?). Guess I am the newest guy here until someone else joins after me, lol. Hope everyone had a nice Veteran's Day. Even if you had to work today, hope everything worked out ok for you. Peace out.

TC is listed as the top 'featured group' ... or maybe it's at the top on my list because I'm already a member?
Huh. I never go in that feedback group, but I look up that thread Gretchen mentioned...no one posted about us there, that I can see, but we're a featured group anyway. Do we get prizes? Gift bags? Swag?
Hi Guys :) I'm Anna - and I live way over in Denmark (Scandinavia, Europe), I elaborated because some people apparently think Denmark is the capital of Ikea or something :PAnyways, I just joined GoodReads, because I like to read books... d'uh..
welcome to TC, anna! do people really think ikea is a country? as a kid i thought legoland was a country, but ikea?
Yup, some people do, I've heard it myself on the net. It's fascinating don't you think? :P and yea, Denmark is responsible for Lego and H. C. Andersen aaaand... I don't know, not much. Very small country :P
