Hi Melissa :) I despise moving with every fiber of my being. In the last 14 years, I've moved 5 times(4 in-state and 1 out-of-state). I hope yours went smoothly.

She has aged well, although I could've done without those nude bathtub shots of her in New York mag.

I'm back!
The move went...okay. I lost many items of importance during my move, but I will survive.
It's just stuff anyway.
Oddly enough, I didn't loose a single library book!

Welcome back, glad the move went OK.
Welcome to TC Merty. They just went nuts showing off an injured foot awhile back. You will find feet in lots of threads.
I joined TC yesterday and am still poking around, but wanted to stop in here to officially say "hello" and such.*waves*
Hi Amy! Are you member 666?
I just want to say that I just noticed the coolness that I remember a movie called 2010 from my youth from when 2010 seemed like the distant future and now it is here!

I have no idea what member number I am, but if I am number 666 I guess you can call me Damien.
muahahahaha

I rewatched 2010 on New Year's. Young Russian Helen Mirren!

I'm not sitting next to Smetchie.
Cynthia wrote: "Gak. That bad? I have not seen the previews."demonic possession scares me more than other type of horror scenarios, for some reason. But no, it wasn't really that bad. It was a nod to The Exorcist. That part really gets me, when she pisses herself at the dinner party. At that point her mom still thinks she has some horrible illness.
*shivers*

You know, the original "Exorcist" gets most of the press, but I still think "The Omen" might trump it.

When was the last time you saw The Omen, Clark? I watched it recently and it was nearly as scary as I'd remembered.
Good point, Smetchie. I'm referring to the first time I saw it at the theater in 1978(?), banged to the gills on some queer mixture of pot and whatever else we were into back then.
Needless to say, it sobered me up real fast.

I hear you. I experienced a similar letdown when I revisited "Alien" not long ago.

Oh God Her MOM! But at least she wasn't as bad as the mom in CARRIE! Now she is one scary chick. What was it she called breasts? Pillows? "They're breasts, mama."
"Dirty Pillows" Cynthia. Carrie's mom was a nutjob and, yeah, really creepy. I never finished reading the book but I saw the movie a few times and I saw Carrie 2: The Rage. I didn't know that they had done a remake of Carrie in 2002. I'll have to check that out.
