They had a big display for "Euphoria" by Lily King at the Library and that has been on my to-read list for awhile, so I was happy with that selection.
I am reading Uninvited by Cat Winters for this book. I walked into my library and it literally was the first book I saw on display when I walked in the door.
So I finished the Uninvited and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by what I read! It was an easy read and I enjoyed it.
Another way might be when you open up Amazon or Barnes and Nobel...the first book that pops up on the feed. This would be good for folks that might be stuck due to weather!

I decided to interpret this category as a book I first discovered at a bookstore, rather than just the first one I saw. There's just too much sensory overload when I first walk into a bookstore. I'll be reading Lexicon by Mary Barry.
For this task, I am using the first book I purchased at my library's annual used book sale which was The Silent Girls by Eric Rickstad. It was a fairly well written mystery and it reminded me somewhat of an episode of Criminal Minds.
Books mentioned in this topic
The Silent Girls (other topics)Lexicon (other topics)
The Lake House (other topics)

This one will be harder than it sounds - will you plan your trip specifically, or choose on a random visit? How will you eliminate bias from your selection?
