This folder is for a book that you've selected as the first one you've seen when you walk into a library or bookstore.

This one will be harder than it sounds - will you plan your trip specifically, or choose on a random visit? How will you eliminate bias from your selection?

Amanda | 229 comments They had a big display for "Euphoria" by Lily King at the Library and that has been on my to-read list for awhile, so I was happy with that selection.

Teresa (teremazon) For me it will be The Lake House by Kate Morton

Sarah I am reading Uninvited by Cat Winters for this book. I walked into my library and it literally was the first book I saw on display when I walked in the door.

Sarah So I finished the Uninvited and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by what I read! It was an easy read and I enjoyed it.

That is a really good idea! I didn't think of that!

I read Euphoria last year and loved it!

I decided to interpret this category as a book I first discovered at a bookstore, rather than just the first one I saw. There's just too much sensory overload when I first walk into a bookstore. I'll be reading Lexicon by Mary Barry. Lexicon by Max Barry

Mary Sue For this task, I am using the first book I purchased at my library's annual used book sale which was The Silent Girls by Eric Rickstad. It was a fairly well written mystery and it reminded me somewhat of an episode of Criminal Minds.
