So I decided a re-read/skim of The Deal was in order to get ready for The Score and I'm standing in line at the grocery store reading with a big grin on my face... I forgot how funny Garrett and Hanah were!
Finished The Score. I had to re-read/skim the previous 2 books first to remind myself about the characters/events and about Dean.Loved this book. Had funny, sad and real life situations that the previous books did not encounter and a different kind of ending. Now anxiously awaiting Tucker's book. ;)
5 old books to 8 newly purchased books read for me in January...I have to d better than that if I want to make a dent in my TBR books!
Heya! Thank you!!!! I miss chatting on the boards but I'm trying to work from home and it's beein draining. I'm listening to books when I can so now I'm on a KA binge. I'm loving her Ghosts and Reincarnations series.
Well the good news for my efforts in the reading challenge of 2016 is, in February although I only officially read 7 books ( Fallen Crest was the first 3.5 books in one and the All Souls Trilogy was almost 600 per book- but I digress), but 4 of those books were on my TBR list of books I'd purchased over a year ago and only 3 new books. The bad news is, I purchased 36 books in February....I see why I have so many unread books on my iPad...I'm close to 500 now...geez!
With the reading challenge I'm not so good with buddy reads but trying to follow Anne's challenge recommendations. And following through for March to finish a trilogy....I'll read Rebecca Donovan's Out of Breath. Had it forever and finally inspired to read it.
@ Leslie I just finished Out of Breath...it was brilliant. I was concerned with all the negative reviews I'd read but the author did not disappoint. I loved it and felt like I made the right decision to wait to read it. 5*
I think for me the problems are:1. - I'm very limited on my genres. I really only like contemporary romance
2. - There are only so many storylines you can have in contemporary romance and after you have read hundreds of them it's a big fat snoozer
3. - Most importantly...I'm menapausal and bitchy so pretty much nothing pleases me at this point.
