message 101: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) "Whoa, chica. Whatever this is, it can wait. I think you need some rest. You're rather pale. Besides, you'll be more focused if you're well rested." Leia replied, a small smile. "Here, I'll make your bed." She winked at Alex, and he ran to grab a vile from the other ship. He poured the blueish liquid into a rum bottle. He brought it back to Leia and whispered in her ear. "I've got our strongest sleeping draught, it should keep her overnight, I disguised it as rum." Leia nodded.
"Good." She took the bottle from Alex and held it out to Chevelle. "Here, some rum should ease the headache."

message 102: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Chevelle sighed and took the bottle. She smelled it and nothing smelt off, so she drank it. Almost immediately after she finished it, she felt tired. "You drugged me!" She accused, her voice slurred by sleep. "Damn you..." She added and collapsed immediately.

message 103: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia and Alex high fived. "Mission accomplished. Is that what you wanted, Blake?" They asked in unison.

message 104: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Blake stared at Chevelle with an open mouth. "No!" He yelled. "You were supposed to HELP her!"

message 105: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) "Chillax!" Leia exclaimed, waving her hands. "It's a sleeping draught. She'll be asleep over night and back to normal by tomorrow morning. Don't worry."
Alex nodded. "We've got it covered."

message 106: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "You weren't supposed to drug her though! Who's gonna assume the captain role?!" He shot back, running a hand through his air and looking around.

message 107: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia and Alex looked at eachother. "We co-captain our ship, one of us could stay here while the other takes ours.

message 108: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "You mean trust you?! Uh, uh! Not happening! You just DRUGGED THE CAPTAIN!"

message 109: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia rolled her eyes. "Well whatever, you wanted our help. Honestly. I knew her, we used to sail together. Look, she's still breathing. It's not like we killed her. She's asleep. But if you don't trust us, I guess we'll just leave." Leia and Alex grabbed a rope to swing back onto their own ship

message 110: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Blake sighed. "I-I do need your help," he said in a small voice.

message 111: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia turned around. "What's in it for us?" She asked, twirling a finger through her snow white hair and smiling, her multicolored eyes beaming.

message 112: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "I-I," he stuttered, not sure how to to respond. "I don't know..."

message 113: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia rolled the gold medallion on her neck through her fingers. "Well, there must be some sort of reward, isn't there?" She purred, letting the light bounce from the medallion to her green eye, and then to the blue one.

message 114: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Why, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!" Blake shouted.

message 115: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) "Fine, I guess you don't want our help." Leia sighed and grabbed the rope again. "Honestly, Alex. Some people." She murmured. Alex nodded, running a hand through his jet black hair.

message 116: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Blake sighed, "fine! Fine, fine, fine!" He crouched down to pick up Chevelle, and found her surprisingly light, despite her muscular build.

message 117: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) Leia shrugged and grabbed her rope to swing back into her own ship. Once on, she saw Layla standing on the deck of her ship, tapping her foot impatiently.
"What on earth just happened?" Layla asked, gesturing to Blake and Chevelle's silhouettes on the other ship against the sunset.

message 118: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Blake had carried Chevelle to her bunk, and laid her down gently. He sighed and watched her for a second before closing the door shut behind him.

message 119: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) "Well, Leia uh..." Alex started.
"I helped Chevy!" Leia exclaimed, beaming.
"You what." Layla blinked, staring into Leia's differently colored eyes.
"They needed our help and they think there's something in kings cove and..." Leia trailed off, her mind wandering.
"Wait, why would you help her? You know what happened! You were there!"
Leia shook her head. "Honestly Layla, she's not as bad as you think she is. She's really quite like you."
Layla stood with her jaw hanging open in shock.
Alex looked from Leia to Layla.
"Really Layla, it'll be alright. Trust me." Leia stated.

Chevelle woke up groggily, the light too bright on the back of her eyelids, the noises too loud. She tried to roll over, but there was something blocking her. She peeked out of one eye and saw a body. She sat up quickly, her brain swimming in colors. She reached out a hand to steady herself and looked to the person beside her. Blake. He turned to look at her, and she gasped. He looked awful. He smiled at her and hugged her.
"You've been a asleep for a long time," he whispered. "I honestly had no idea when you would wake up, if you did," he added as an afterthought.
"How-how long have I been asleep?" Chevelle asked, her voice extremely hoarse and raspy.
"It's been four days," he answered.

message 121: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) ((Agh my message did not saveeee.))

Leia sat on the rocking boat. "This trip will be a long one."
Alex sat down beside her. "Do you think Chevelle is alright?"
Leia nodded, pressing her fists into her eye sockets. "She should have woken up a few days ago, bright and shiny like a penny. The only reason it would have taken longer would be if she really were depriving herself of sleep and needed that much sleep. In that case, it'll be about an hour before she feels new again. But honestly, that sleeping draught works wonders."
Alex nodded. "That's great. Do you need some?" He asked, jokingly.

message 122: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) ((I have no idea where I'm going with this))

Addisen | 4577 comments ((I don't really know what to say either...))

message 124: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) ((Hmmm... I don't know. We could have something happen, we could start over, we could do whatever.))

message 125: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments ((I guess I'm just not huge on the whole pirate thing... I don't really know much about it.. Would it be selfish if I asked to do something else?))

message 126: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) ((Not at all :) what do you like to do?))

message 127: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments ((Hmm paranormal stuff! You said u weren't Big on romance, right?))

Christine (cmgz5) ((Yeah, and that sounds cool!!!))

message 129: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments ((Have you ever done one before? A paranormal one?))

message 130: by Christine (new)

Christine (cmgz5) ((Nope. How do they work?))

message 131: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments So paranormal is pretty much just a genre. It's like supernatural, but covers a wider range of "sub genres". ThTs really all the differene!

Christine (cmgz5) Sounds good to me. So most anything goes then?

message 133: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments ((Pretty much! One thing tho that's good to know, don't feel like you're bound by the rules of today's society. Most usually take place in alternate universes! :) ))

Christine (cmgz5) That sounds awesome! :O
