"Yes, Sullivan?" Layla asked in a mock-stern tone. Jason knew she wasn't often so high and commanding, but had to keep her image for the sake of the ship. He was also allowed the only other member permitted to call her Layla.
"Captain, what if Chevelle comes by anyways?"
Layla laughed, "you know, no matter what she tried to do, she's not getting ahold of whatever she imagines that I have."
"And that would be...?" Jason asked skeptically.
Layla smiled. "It's all up here," she pointed towards her head with a grin.

"Sooo..." Jason pondered, "like a wild goose chase?"
"Precisely." Layla replied with a grin.

"You've got a freeloader? Niceeeee..." Arielle was saying.
"Yeah, I've probably got to go soon so she doesn't figure it out... " Layla replied with a sigh. "Quick, hand me the package on that table."
Arielle turned to hand Layla the package, and Layla took it and fled the room.
"Oh my..." Arielle said, clicking her tongue as she left.
Layla climbed onto the ship.
"Let's head towards Tortuga." She stated with a grin and set sail.
((Yay to being on a bus for 30+ hours))

Chvelle watched in anticipation as Layla boarded her ship."well at least she is gettin back on... But this is pointless!" She mumbled. "Turn'er around!" She yelled at the man behind the ((wheel thingy?))
((I just wanna say sorry for not knowing ANY pirate terms whatsoever! This is the first one ive ever done!))

And that's alright, I know a bit just from writing a story about them and watching a ton of POTC... And I have a pirates book and game. I lurv pirates, haha ))
Layla opened the package back in the captain's quarters and found a large key inside of a small glass bottle. She dropped the bottle in attempt to smash it, but to no avail. She beat the bottle against the wall and had no luck. Jason stared and then took a hand in trying to break open the bottle, but he had no luck either.
"This must be enchanted glass..." Layla murmured, turning the shimmery glass in her fingers. On the bottom of the bottle, engraved in the glass, was a line of numbers. "Curious..." Layla mused.

Jason lowered his eyebrows. "You really believe in that make believe crap?"
Layla frowned. "Believe what you want, that place is haunted."

Layla raised an eyebrow. "Whatever suits you." She murmured. "Wait. I'm captain here," she opened the captains quarters "LETS GO TO RAVENS COVE!!!" She yelled.

"—COVE!"
"Did anyone else hear that? That was Layla!" She yelled, causing her crew to turn around. 'There must be something at a cove!' She thought. "tell me what coves are nearby!" She ordered.

So... Uhh... Being within hearing distance is physically impossible, and you would certainly be within sight. Oh well.))
Layla squinted. "I think I see Chevelle's ship. Called it."

Jason frowned, "Captain, uh, that's the opposite direction from Raven's cove..."
Layla sighed. "Well. Yeah. But, I really do need to visit her, special task there."
"Alrighty then," Jason agreed reluctantly, "To Cuba we go."

"Some'un, not some'thin." Esmeralda replied, and gestured to her gypsy tent. "Look inside."

Chevelle was angry. "We searched the place with NOTHING?!" She yelled. "Search it again! You missed something!"

Layla pulled one of the flaps from the tent open. "OH MY GOD." She screamed and flung herself inside. When Jason looked inside the tent he saw Layla in a huge bear hug.
Layla broke free after a while. "I haven't seen you since..." She trailed off. One of the two people inside of the tent, a young woman with Snow White hair, a snowy colored complexion and two different colored--one green and one blue--eyes, and a blue, slim fitting sapphire dress, spoke first. "Layla. Just forget about that."
"But I thought you both were... Dead." Layla mumbled, her voice faltering.
The other figure in the tent, a handsome young man with stunning blue eyes, midnight black hair and black attire was the next to speak.
"Leia was paralyzed for four years, I lost my hand, but we're both fine." He waved a mechanical hand back and forth.
Layla thought back to the last time she'd seen Leia and Alex. Alex had been stabbed in the hand and was out cold, while Leia had taken a blade to the spine and was losing life quickly. Layla had brought the ship to Cuba and sent them to Esmeralda in hopes that she could perform some sort of gypsy magic on the two, but Layla had to leave when a huge tsunami struck the island.
"How did you survive the tsunami?" Layla asked, looking from Leia to Alex.
"Ahem," Alex said, clearing his throat, "you don't think we're used to the water?"
Layla stared at him.
"Alright, alright. We found high ground shelter, by the rest of the island was devastated."
Layla buried her head in Alex's arm. "I'm just thrilled you're alive."

Leia and Alex shrugged. "We just came to dock, we hoped you'd be here soon." They replied in unison.
Layla raised an eyebrow. "Creepy twin speak. Why were you looking for me?"
Leia grinned. "We're coming with you to raven's cove."

"Clues. Riddles. All of the above." Alex grinned.
"They lead to an exquisite reward somewhere else." Leia added, beaming at Layla.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Layla asked, "Let's go!"
((Sorry for the shorter posts. I think at some point we should have our charries working together. Maybe. But idk how to incorporate that. Hmm..))

Blake looks around for any other ships close by to help with Chevelle's condition. He couldn't have a captain less ship, and he wasn't ready to temporary fill the spot.
((Sorry the post is puny!))

Layla set sail, and behind her was Alex and Leia's ship. Jason stared at Alex angrily through his telescope. Why couldn't he have the looks that Alex had. Jason had a mop of dark red and brown colored hair, and light sea green eyes. He felt too plain for Layla.
"Sullivan!!" Layla called, snapping Jason from his daze. "What're you dreaming about?"
"Just tracking the sunset.." Jason lied sheepishly. Layla rolled her eyes. "Whatever floats your goat." She murmured. Jason couldn't help but smile at her odd sense of humor.

Jason looked just as confused. "Should we go over there?"
"Surely she doesn't want our help. I mean...." Layla trailed off
"Worth a shot?" Jason asked, noting that Leia and Alrx had turned towards Chevelle.

((Lol dat pirate talk doe))

"Something is wrong with Chevelle... She-she's gone mad! You've got to help her!" Blake practically begged.
((Sorry it's short. Working on hw))

Alexander raised an eyebrow. Leia, who had just swung aboard, beamed at the two. "We'll help."
"We will?" Alex asked incredulously.
"I sense that something good will come from this." Leia stated.
"Yeah, you and your 'psychic' powers." Alex muttered sarcastically.
"Hey now!" Leia interjected. "My psychic skills have saved your life many times over!"
Alex rolled his eyes. "Maybe. I bet it's just luck."
"We're in." Leia told Blake.

((Gtg to bed.. Night!))

"Leia, nothing good can come from this."
Leia ignored him. "Remember me?" She called through the door, tracing a finger along the details on the door.

"King's cove?" Leia asked, an odd sort of confused look on her face. "I didn't know there was anything there. Is it valuable?"

Alex looked at her in disbelief. "In half a second. You think she has a fever."
"Well I don't know for sure." Leia replied and brushed Alex's forehead with the back of her hand. "You don't have a fever."
"Good to know." Alex replied, shaking the hair from his eyes
