I used WorldCat (more reliable) to obtain details of their publisher etc. for the books instead of Amazon.
I also did not add the stock images for the cover, because I don't see the point of it. However, if it is something you truly desire than I can do it for you, that's no problem

These editions, I believe should be deleted because I can't find their existence.

lethe | 16377 comments To be precise about the terminology: these are not stock images, but placeholder images.

Stock images are images of actual covers, but not necessarily of the edition described. See f.e. this AbeBooks page: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Searc...

If you buy an edition with a bookseller image, you can be sure you get the edition with the cover pictured. With stock images, you never know. (Which is why, when adding a cover to GR, it's best to look for a bookseller image, if you're not sure what the cover should look like.)

Placeholder images just denote "this is not the actual cover". Personally, I can't see a reason for uploading these on GR (unless it is a "coming soon" cover). It may well be that the correct cover is out there (just not on Amazon, or on that particular Amazon site), and the generic GR image makes it much easier to see which books don't have actual covers yet.

1) That is right

2) ebooks generally have a "cover" image. F.e., one ebook I have has this cover: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

2) If a cover can be found on an approved site (f.e. the publisher's, or the author's) and it's the correct one for the ISBN, it may be added.

No B&N are not acceptable source because their book selling websites. The only reason why we can use Amazon is because GR is owned by Amazon.

Completed the requests that have book covers, those that don't I left them because they existed at one upon a time....

Also about your individual author question, if it's the same book, I don't see the need to create a new thread. However, if the thread gets too "messy" than you can create a new thread.
