Amazon says that our sci-fi book of the month for July doesn't get released until July 5th?

And I don't see an audiobook version available at all in the US (if anyone finds one, let me know!). My plan right now is to preorder the paperback and read it the second half of the month.

The book opens with the main character retrieving stolen necklaces, then the main plot starts with the hero going after a stolen broach which comes up a LOT.

Yeah, that would be nice. I will try and get it later this month, but it's over 500 pages, so I doubt that I'll be able to finish it in time.

I do tend to do a quick check on availability for nominations but this one is definitely out there for those who want it.
We sort of assumed a US writer could be gotten in the US

Thanks, Melanie and Greg.I've ordered books from Book Depository a few times with no problems whatsoever. They're great for books that I can't find on this side of the pond and the free shipping is almost too good to be true. I keep waiting for that little benefit to disappear.

How weird! I checked my library and it has several copies listed as "New Order," which means they're waiting to get it. I had assumed it had been out for a while already. Maybe we'll be allowed an extension from our overlords. ;)

Mpauli is THE overlord so you will have to wait for his ruling but there is some precedence here. We had a month where the monthly posting was late and he extended the energy cell deadline to account for that.
