Let's keep it simple and go with actual witches, before it gets too blurry.

I want some blood relation. A half-brother would be okay with me, a foster brother wouldn't fit the challenge. Eric (Grim Reaper) and Simon (Wonder Man) are actual brothers.

This week was a very close win for Team Marvel. For them Wayland, Karen and Kate defeated Grim Reaper. Joy was the MVP by recruiting Star Lord and being the first player to recruit Snoopy.
For Team DC Dawn, Melanie and Veronica all defeated Grim Reaper, while Kirsty recruited Atom. Mel and Veronica also both were actively adding to her roster with the additions of Swamp Thing for Veronica and Com. Gordon for Melanie,
The Energy Cell race went 6:5 in favor of Team Marvel. Team DC is now only one cell away from their second portal hero.

No problem, Michael :)

Mpauli wrote: "I want some blood relation. A half-brother would be okay with me, a foster brother wouldn't fit the challenge. Eric (Grim Reaper) and Simon (Wonder Man) are actual brothers. "Thanks, Mpauli. I went with a full bio brother just to be on the safe side.

Firestorm recruited!
A question for the brain trust - One of the traits of Batgirl is that the protagonist has a father who was in the police. In the Charley Davidson novels, the protagonist's (Charley) father and uncle are both detectives, and she worked alongside both of them since she was very young, however her father has retired by the start of the first book and runs a bar.Is that close enough, or just missed? :)

Oh yes. I read it on commute - not a good idea ;)
Team DC has added two additional energy cells since Mpauli's last post saying that we only needed one more, so DC chooses Nimoa for our next portal hero.
This week we're having points early, as I have to work all weekend. Team DC won the week with Nick being their MVP by defeating Grim Reaper and recruiting Firestorm and Lobo to his team. Garfield was added by Melanie and Dawn while Lel recruited Blue Beetle.
For Team Marvel Rinn and Shawnie defeated Grim Reaper and Kate recruited Jessica Jones.
Team Marvel won the Energy Cell race with 4:2, but Team DC managed to open their second portal and they decided to go with Nimona.
In other news, Brainiac was introduced as July's villain of the month. As he has some pretty nasty challenges I wanted to give you a full week of advance to think about possible reads.

Does this book qualify for Marvel/Vision/2. Married to a witch, as the wife has powers but Tom hasn't?
