Is this a comic book? I don't believe those count in the challenge.

What a clever idea for a challenge! I don't think I've seen anything like it in other groups.I'd like to join DC - that team seems to have a couple fewer members; so hopefully that works.

Star Lord 2. Elemental Guns
Read a book with a gun on the cover or where the main character uses guns. Commander-in-Chief It's an ensemble piece, so there's no "main character" but almost every named and POV character uses guns throughout.

The book is all told from Edna's point of view.
Question... If the category calls for the character having a certain criteria, for example "character is a scientist," do non-fiction books count say if the author is a scientist and writes the book in first person?
I think the key term here would be character. If the author is a scientist and he is the character in the book, then I believe it would could. But if there is no character in the book then it would not count.

I've used several non-fiction books in years past, and never had an issue with it. I would think it'd be fine.

Welcome to team marvel.
All books from this year count towards your hero recruiting but not for monthly villains.

The Thor book really disappointed me. Having read other books by Jason Aaron (notably Scalped, Vol. 1: Indian Country), I came in with high expectations. Ultimately, I found the villain's motivations entirely predictable, and the story just wasn't that interesting. Jumping around in time was an intriguing move, but didn't save the book.
Squirrel Girl was delightful! This book was funny, charming, and full of joy! It owns its silliness, and then some. But the silliness is not stupid. I enjoyed the heck out of this book and recommend it.
