SOLVED. Historical Romance - at least 21 years old - Hero's name possibly Tristan? [s]

I read this book at least 21 years ago.
I think the hero's name was Tristan but this is not a certainty.
I also think it was set in Medieval times.
It was one of those normal mass marketed paperback historical novels that would have been published by Zebra or someone similar.
She was kidnapped by him based on some misunderstanding and then released at the end.
I think it was similar in plot to Prisoner of my Desire by Johanna Lindsey because every time I think I recall some detail from that book, it's actually the Johanna Lindsey which I read a couple years later.
This all seems very vague but I hope to at least get some book titles with the hero's name of Tristan.
