C. | 297 comments Suggestions please for 'Clean' series? I was shocked when I can across a graphic sex scene in the first book of the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber, and also all the profanity, especially the crude sexual talk by one character!

I'm wondering if her Blossom Street series is as bad, and the Eternity Springs series by Emily March?

Please suggest nice clean[G-to-PG-13] series, but not the Mitford series[couldn't get engaged in those] and preferably without religious proselytizing.

Carolyn | 13 comments The first Blossom Street started getting a little too detailed for me so I had to stop reading.

Vickie Kelley | 21 comments Glad I read this also. Was fixing to check some of her books out for my iPad. Glad I didn't purchase them yet!

C. | 297 comments Has no one read the Eternity Springs series?

No suggestions for a clean non-Christian series?

Vickie Kelley | 21 comments Have you tried "Harmony " series by Philpi Gulley. All I read are clean books and Christian boks. It has been a year or so, but many after, so not able to tell what the series is about. But like I said, all I read is clean books. You might want to check this series out!!

Thanks Vickie, but I really prefer clean "secular" books.; to avoid too much religious proselytizing.

However you did remind me of (Irish Country Books Book 1) by Patrick Taylor.

An Irish Country Doctor (Irish Country #1) by Patrick Taylor

and I also found~ A Country Affair (Barleybridge #1) by Rebecca Shaw

Amanda (amandalyn) | 114 comments Have you read Rosamund Pilcher?

The Shannara Series by Terry Brooks is Family Friendly. NO Smut/Nudity. No Swearing. It Could Be a Little Violent

If There is a *Scene* It is Written Vaguely,Like It Mentions The Start of a Kiss and Completely Skips The Scene. It Picks Up After. NO Details

Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher

Snow In April by Rosamunde Pilcher

The Day of the Storm by Rosamunde Pilcher

I do have those books on my TBR list. Good to know that they are 'clean' reads.

Anna del C. Dye | 29 comments I have a PG13 blog and this authors have been feature in my blog. All my work is clean, YA, stand alone, easy read, even my Silent Warrior Trilogy. (an elf tale)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 104 comments You might try D.E. Stevenson's "Miss Buncle" books...small town England. Also, Anna Dean's Regency mysteries are excellent and clean.

The Flipped Page (Susan K) (theflippedpage) | 48 comments Love Rosemund Pilcher!
Try Melanie Jacobson Painting Kisses, not a series, but a fun, and cathartic book with romance as well. Definitely just pg!
Also if you haven't read Kasie West, she is YA but definitely fun.
If you are looking for period, Sherry Lynn Ferguson has a series that is clean and witty. I discovered her and love her work. They aren't incredibly long, but very fun!
Sarah Eden has some period works that are ok and a series, Julianne Donaldson is clean, but not a series, period, although a more modern writing style. Good luck! Seems like most series have some Christian elements in them.

Kayla | 4 comments The Maisie Dodds mystery series might be good- I have read 3 or 4 of them and don’t remember anything questionable.
