2. to free up space; you need to remove from the device, but it stills on your amazon account (the cloud)

Thanks so much for replying! I have around 110 books at the moment on it and with lots of freebies out, it's starting to fill up quickly.

Thank you. That's really helpful, I appreciate it :)

Wow, that's cool :)

I have about 11,000 books in the Cloud right now.
I only put what I'm currently reading or plan to read in the near future onto the Kindle. Even so, I have 12 pages of books on my Kindle.
Because of GoodReads, I don't use my Kindle device as a "bookshelf" that contains all my books. Seriously, how often do you actually look at all those other books? Even when I had physical books, 99.9% of them just sat on the bookshelf gathering dust.
Once I finish a book on my Kindle device, I delete it from the device. It's always still in the Cloud if I want to go back and use it. And it's not a dust magnet! :)
1, My device is 4GB, how many books would my tablet approximately hold?
2, If I was to archive a book from my library on my kindle, would that free up memory space or would I have to completely delete it from my device?
Thanks!
