Cain looked at her and nodded. "You're welcome." He placed his coffee mug still full of coffee on the table. He then proceeded to get into line and grab a ton of food. Breakfast was his favorite meal of the day. Even though some days for the warlock it was an anything goes thing. He grabbed eggs and sausage. Some pancakes and for the healthy part, strawberries. Cain waited for Sage after he paid for his food so they could sit down at the table together. While she was occupied he sent everyone glares as they would glance at him. One kid had the audacity to hide a snicker so the warlock sent him flat on his face. Still he wasn't a morning person.

Cain looked down at her and gave a small smile. "Oh here darling." He said leading her to an empty table where his coffee mug sat. The warlock took one side so he could talk across from Sage. He took a bite of his pancake and washed it down with his coffee. "The best thing about morning is definitely breakfast." Cain moaned loving the sweet cakey fluff.
"I prefer our own homemade concoctions." He told her chuckling and moving his eyebrow up and down. The warlock had finished his pancakes and moved onto his eggs. They weren't magnificent but were better than anything he could cook by himself. "I believe it's now every cafeteria is. That's why they aren't called restaurants."
Cain chuckled back at her and took the last bite of egg. "It really was you know? What do we have planned for today?" It wasn't but a minute later that he was finished with his plate. The warlock looked around watching others interact. He seemed to no longer be the topic of discussion everyone else had moved on now. Cain looked back at Sage and leaned against the table with crossed arms. He was full and pretty happy.
Cain thought about it then shook his head. "I'm free. I have some classes but I never go to them anyway." The dark warlock took Sage's scraps and stuffed them in his mouth. Cain suddenly formed a grand idea in his mind. "Actually...I am busy and you your busy later tonight. Because yours truly, darling, is going to be taking his lovely witch on a date." He said winking at her and smiling.
Cain took her plate and ate the rest of the food on it. It was a surprise he wasn't fat. "Darling that is for me to know and you to find out later tonight." The warlock drank the rest of his coffee then sighed in content. He noticed that others were starting to leave and as they passed him glanced in a curious way. It was obvious what they were wondering and though Cain would have liked nothing more than to curse them out he stayed quiet. Stayed quiet long enough to lean over the table and kiss Sage. Once he was satisfied and the observers were too he pulled back. "Now they can spread the word around the Academy. I don't like to be stared at." Cain said looking at the witch and reaching out to curl a piece of her hair around his finger.
Cain smiled and tugged gently on her hair. "I know. I'm going to get so many jealous looks. Sage I believe all the guys are going to want to have what I am claiming as my apprentice." He chuckled and pushed the plates out the way and laid back on the table. His head laid under Sage's head. Tendrils of her hair brushed against his face. Catching a soft wiff of the witch's hair made Cain feel at ease.
He let out a quiet chuckle. "Good thing neither of us care what others think." Cain grabbed her hair and brought it back underneath his nose. The warlock sighed in content then groaned in disappointment. "I need to go start making preparations and stop in on some of my classes." He placed his arms behind his head becoming his usual lazy self
Cain looked up her and smiled. "Parting is such sweet sorrow." The warlock chuckled before getting up. He looked at Sage then winked. "See you later darling." With that the vampire left leaving no instructions for their date tonight. Keeping the witch in the dark was all part of his scheme.

(Yeah they can. It's dark though so all Sage can see is the lake.
