((Hey Marya, I'm sorry I think we have a horrible time zone difference, but we'll make do with this, Asian time and all :P))
"I got here two days ago," Adelina replied, looking around. "Still dealing with jet lag, which kinda sucks."
"Really? Where are you from?" She walks inside and heads for a table with a selection of fruits.
"Oh, I'm from a very tiny island in Greece." Adelina tells Zeck. She picks up a banana for herself, and a pear for Seth.
"It is? Really?" She looks at Zeck. "Hey, just out of curiosity, where's Seth from?" She asks casually, not wanting her little crush to be obvious.
"Huh. So tell me about yourself." Adelina says to even out talking about Seth. Plus, Zeck is a nice guy and a good friend.
"Really? Was it, like, painful?" She looks at him.
"Sure. I'll meet you in front of the common room in...say, ten minutes? Then we'll grab Seth and the three of us will go swimming."

Adelina trudges into the cafeteria and grabs a cup of coffee and an apple. She spots Zeck and sits across from him, resting her head on the table.
"I am not a morning person." She mumbles. She lifts her head up and takes a long sip of the steaming black coffee. "And I'm only slightly caffeine dependent."
Adelina quickly downs her first cup of coffee. She leaves and shortly returns with another one. "So how was the rest of your night?"
"I was exhausted so I just passed out." Adelina shrugged. "But thank you for such a great day yesterday." She grins
"I'm glad you had a good time as well." She looks around. "Hey, where's Seth?"
"Oh. Well I hope he's okay..." She murmurs, biting into her apple.
Adlina looks at him, getting the feeling that he's hiding something. "Are you sure nothing happened last night?"
Adelina's eyes widen, and she wants to scream but all she can do is muster out a small "oh."
She nods a tiny bit. "I, uh... I've gotta go." She stands up.
Adelina thinks for a moment. Maybe talking to Zeck will help her. She slowly sits back down.
"It's...you'll think it's stupid." She looks down.
"Okay. Here it goes: I may have had a tiny little crush on Seth. But now you say that he, like, came on to you and so I know that I can never ever do anything about my crush because Seth is gay. Now that whole part doesn't bother me- I'm not homophobic. My problem is that I can't do anything, and I don't even think Seth likes me as a person." She blurts out quickly.
"But he's sarcastic- wait what?! Did you say you liked me?" Adelina stares at Zeck
Adelina puts her head in her hands and groans. What the hell is she going to do? What if Zeck was just hanging out with her because he had a crush on her. If she rejected him, she'd be in the same friendless place she was before.
"Really? You don't think that things will be awkward, right?"
"Hey! " Seth appears out of nowhere as usual. "What are you guys talking about?"
Adelina smiles softly. "I'd like that. Thanks, Zeck." She lifts her head.
Seth's mind suddenly went blank when looking at Zeck. He turns his face away, a bit awkward. "Moving in with a Vampire, not like I'll actually 'live' there you know?"

Adelina gives a small laugh and glances at Seth. She wonders how he'd react if he knew that she liked him.
"I have a roommate but she hates me." Adelina says simply.
"And why do you think that? " Seth asked eager to turn his attention away from Zeck
"It's hard to explain. I know because of these little catty things that girls tend to do. They're subtle, but they get the message across."
