"Heir? Intriguing," Arana said. "I didn't know clans had royalty."

"Well...yeah vampires do" Zmeyka said "conflicts, rivalries and all that shit. I can understand why Andre needs to come here. Part of the reason I came here"

"That sounds very dangerous," Arana commented. "I don't think that would be pleasant."

Zmey have a short laugh and patted Arana on her head. "Don't worry" He said "Nobody would ever dare to hurt an angel"

Arana smiled back with a nod. "Well I suppose we could leave you. Zmeyka says he has a book for me."

Zmeyka was more than happy to leave.
"Bye Greyson, see you and Andre around." He said, ignoring Zaxion. He stood up, ready to leave.

Zaxion scowled but crossed his arms and stayed silent.

Arana stood as well. "Let's go then."

Arana and Zmeyka left for his dorm to get the book.

Zqxion growled quietly as they left.

He looked down and sighed. "It better be."

He looked up at her, unsure. "I hope so."

He nodded. "It was like as soon as I saw her, I remembered everything about her, and that's when I got protective. I don't want her to fall too."

He sighed. "Yeah. I'm sure she'll be fine."

He smiled. "I am too."

He smirked up at her and slowly stood. "Depends on what you're feeling like."

"Well I don't have to get back to see her now," he replied.

"I do, kinda," he smirked. "But I won't force you to. If you say no, then that's it."

He smiled and let him pull her away.

Ivanna grabs her last book. She finally got the six books she needed- well, wanted- to read. She carefully balanced the books on top of each other and slowly walked to find a nice armchair to settle into.

"Of course I am. Who else is?" She says simply, picking up the first book.

"Well, no one's come along. But if you want to join me, you may." She smiles softly.

"Tons. What genre?"

Ivanna thinks for a moment. "Read One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. There's nothing not to like about it: hallucinations, violence, finishing, death, mentally insane characters, and an unreliable narrator. It's also great from a literary viewpoint. Not to mention Kesey was tripping on acid when he wrote the first two chapters. It's a personal favorite."

"You should." She says matter-of-factly. "It's a classic." Ivanna sticks out her hand. "I'm Ivanna."

She waits for the boy to shake her hand

"Nice to meet you, Xander. " Ivanna sits down and opens her book. She wants to make small talk, but she knows that trying to make friends is probably a futile effort at this point.
