Zmey looked at her brother. He could see the resemblance. However, he didn't share the same violet eyes as her.

"And who is this?" Zaxion asked, looking at Zmeyka, carefully evaluating him.

"Zmeyka Christov" He says. Zmey looks back at Zaxion as intensely. Somehow, he doesn't like the vibe of this guy.

Zaxoin shifted his jaw a bit, eyeing Zmeyka up. "You dating my sister?" he asked bluntly.

"Yes" Zmeyka replies just as bluntly. Then in feigned innocence asks, "Is that a problem?"

"It might be," Zaxion said flatly. "What are you?"

Zmeyka bares his teeth and growls.

"Enough," Arana said with a calm sternness. "I have been attending this school for about two weeks, to answer your question Greyson."

Zaxion took a deep breath, and though he was still annoyed, he no longer showed it.

Zmeyka turns away from Zaxion to face Greyson, "How's it going Greyson? Been a while since we heard from your clan."

"You're part of a clan?" Arana asked.

"Well yes, most vampires are actually" Zmeyka replies and turns to Greyson, "Well, whenever you meet Andre, send him regards from our clan too" He smiles

Arana considered that. "I've never dealt with any sort of clan before. Angels sometimes have partners, but no other inner allegiances."

"Hmm, it is an old vampire tradition" He says smiling at her, "Of course, you might be heading towards being a part of a clan sooner than you think" He says teasingly. Actually, he says that to spite Zaxion too.

Zaxion looked at him coldly. "I highly doubt that."

Zaxion looks at Greyson, exasperated.

Zmey looks back at Zaxion with hard eyes. He's reaching his limits. Involuntarily he bares his teeth again.

Arana put her hand on Zmeyka's arm. "Enough," she said quietly.

Zaxion sighed. "I can only try."

Zmeyka calms down a bit and faces Arana. He takes her hand for his comfort more than hers and decides not to look at Zaxion.

Arana gives a small smile. "Well what brings the two of you to the library?" she asked Zaxion and Greyson.

Arana gave a quiet laugh. "Well it's nice to meet you."

"I thought you would be lonely," Zaxion said. "But apparently not."

"Well that's good isn't it?" Zmey said. "You talk like you'd rather have your own sister be lonely" He said, a bit annoyed and a bit angry.

"Well I'm not sure she chose the best company," Zax replied.

"Enough Zaxion," Arana said sternly.

Zmeyka bangs the table with his hand in fury. However, for the sake of Arana, he decides to stay quiet.

Arana gripped his hand firmly.

"Say what?" Zaxion asked, shocked. "There is no way he loves her!"

"I find that offensive, Zaxion," Arana said flatly.

Zmeyka stands up in anger.
"I find that ironic coming from a guy who hasn't seen her for fifteen damn years!"

"It's fifty," Arana sighed.

"It's not like I wanted to stay away from her that long!" Zaxion shouted. "I never planned to become a demon!"

Zaxion sat in a chair with a thud. "What if I don't want to be rational?" he mumbled.

"It would be better if you didn't involve yourself in this Greyson." Zmey says. He sits down and looks out of the window.

"As far as I'm concerned, this is as much her business as it is yours," Arana said.

Zaxion gave her a smirk. "Does that mean...?"

Zmeyka suddenly regrets his words. "I'm sorry Greyson. Didn't mean it. You're right. Sorry for being like that" Last thing he wants is to upset another vampire.

Arana gave a small smile. "I'm glad you understand."

Zaxion snickered a bit and relaxed in his seat.

Zmey looks to Arana and smiles. Her kind violet eyes suddenly make him feel guilty. He doesn't want to upset her. Ever.

"So, Greyson," Arana said. "How long have you been attending this school?"

"And how long have you been attending, Zaxion?" Arana asked.

"A week longer than you," Zax answered.

"Then how long have you two been together?" Arana asked.
