Frank.Uli One conflict in this book is that Cassie does know if she can trust the other humans she finds.

Frank.Uli This is a conflict because if Cassie can't trust other people then she will be alone and will have a higher chance of dying.

Frank.Uli Another conflict is that Cassie want's to save her little brother who she lost a while ago. This is a conflict because she won't get anything else done without finding him.

Frank.Uli Also, In the book when Cassie And Evan Walker meet Cassie trusts him but soon learns that he is one of the "others" that came to Earth. This is a conflict because she does not know if he can trust him anymore.

Frank.Uli In the book another conflict is that Evan Walker want's to make Cassie trust him. Cassie doesn't trust him because he is one of the "others" that came to Earth and kill many millions of people. If Cassie doesn't trust him Cassie will be alone and will likely die. Evan doesn't want that to happen to her.

Frank.Uli In the book Another conflict is that Sam (Cassie's Brother) is stuck at a camp called Camp Haven. While he is there he is harshly trained and doesn't know but is being turned against his friends by the people at Camp Haven.

Frank.Uli Another conflict in the book is that once Cassie gets to Camp Haven to save Sam, she has a hard time getting to him.

Frank.Uli Also, another conflict is that once Cassie finds Sam and Ben who Sam has been staying with they have a hard time getting out of the camp. This is a conflict because Cassie doesn't know how to get out and if they die then that whole journey was for nothing.

Frank.Uli The Infinite Sea

In the second book a conflict is that the "others" are putting bombs into real kids and sending the kids around to kill the last survivors. This is a conflict because the "others" are killing kids that can potentially help Cassie and her friends.

Frank.Uli Another conflict because of that is Cassie and her friends don't know who has bombs inside them. So they can't trust anybody they find.
