This is the only gap I have in the "Light" 13 that I haven't picked yet. So I'll open it up: What upcoming book are you looking forward to the most?

None Like Him: 10 Ways God Is Different from Us *and Why That's a Good Thing* J. WilkinHabits of Grace: Enjoying Jesus Through the Spiritual Disciplines D. Mathis
Steadfast Love: The Response of God to the Cries of Our Heart L. Chandler
The Inerrant Word: Biblical, Historical, Theological, and Pastoral Perspectives MacArthur
A Peculiar Glory: How the Christian Scriptures Reveal Their Complete Truthfulness Piper

One option that would be free in numerous formats, relevant, and an excellent read is: http://www.desiringgod.org/articles/n...
I'm looking forward to getting This Is Awkward: How Life's Uncomfortable Moments Open the Door to Intimacy and Connection by Sammy Rhodes, an RUF pastor and frequent tweeter. I like his writing style so it should be good.

I am SO excited bout this book. I love his talks at USC and his Twitter feed either makes me laugh or think... my favorite combo :)
super excited to read "the food ain't the problem" by carole holliday.! The Food Ain't the Problembuying on amazon (not audio)
Some great suggestions here, I've added a few to my "to read" list! The one that I'm looking forward to is Eligible: A Modern Retelling of Pride and Prejudice by Curtis Sittenfeld. I don't typically like retelling of classics (much like I don't like remakes of classic movies), however I have really loved everything I have read by Curtis Sittenfeld. American Wife is one of my favorite books. So I'm curious to see how I feel about this one.
Here's a book about Bible translation which I just had published last month: Translating the Bible Literally: The History and Translation Methods of the King James Version, the New American Standard Bible and the English Standard Version
It would also fit the categories "A book about the Bible" and "A book written by a first-time author"
Sovereignty and Authority in the Context of the American Republic: a confessional Lutheran assessment, by Rt. Rev. James D. Heiser was published in 2016. It's very good reading.
Clean House: Exposing Our Government's Secrets and Lies, by Tom Fitton is a disturbing reality that our elected representatives and their appointees are so far from upholding and defending our US Constitution and misrepresenting the citizens of our land.
Conscience and Its Enemies: Confronting the Dogmas of Liberal Secularism, by Robert P. George -- Very enlightening and well researched. Easier reading than I anticipated and for that I'm grateful. Worth your time!
