I do not know if Big Country and U2 ever toured together, but they should.

Aw, man. That would have been fantastic.

Quoleena Sbrocca (qjsbrocca) I think the Thursday night football solid color uniforms makes the players look like they're playing for the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland.

Eggs are only a good excuse to have bacon.

message 12: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) I think there are too many threads about bacon on Goodreads. 0_o

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

There can never be too many threads about bacon.

message 14: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Bacon thread likely exists... Bit if not, bacon floss may be used in a pinch if you have a bacon sewing emergency.

message 15: by Quoleena (new)

Quoleena Sbrocca (qjsbrocca) I like lamp.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I have it all--bacon floss, bacon sewing kit, pinched bacon, bacon threads...
And lamps.

You need an excuse to have bacon?

Bacon is its own reason!

message 22: by Martin (new)

Martin Wilsey | 447 comments Bacon is so good it is a sin to eat it in some religions.

message 23: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) I never liked bacon. The smell has a sharp sting that reminds me of ammonia. Apparently, this is not rare. It's just a weird body chemistry thing similar to folks who think cilantro tastes like soap.

Jessica Rabbit was a mutant.

And there are pr0n sites with nothing but cartoons on them...er, I mean, that's what I've heard...I don't...I've never...**scuttles out of the room**

As my younger brother will attest, I used to say Aladdin was hot when I was in high school. I bought the diamond anniversary blue ray and watched it with my son. Still love the movie, but now I think Aladdin just looks old. Not that cute young buck he used to be.

There's even a coconut bacon. Bacon has gone too far.

Tina Louise has a Bacon number of 2.*

I've spoken to Tina Louise.

She didn't like me. The feeling was mutual.

SUGAR!!!!!!!!

Krispy Kreme is probably the only food on the planet with enough sugar to make me run around like a hyperactive toddler. ;)

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

We seemed to have strayed from the original bacon topic. And any bacon wannabe--turkey, coconut--is sacrilege. Don't even think about it.

message 39: by T.L. (new)

Donut shaped sugar. Hate those things.

Although I hear that you can just tear off a pinch and use it as sugar for your tea or coffee (if people do that kind of thing).

They're not that sweet. You'd be better using a piece of chocolate or marshmallow instead. If you put sugar in your coffee that is. BURK!

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) G.G. wrote: "They're not that sweet. You'd be better using a piece of chocolate or marshmallow instead. If you put sugar in your coffee that is. BURK! "

My two bit opinion: anything with more than 10g sugar in a single serving is too sweet. That's why I always laugh at the US vs UK chocolate argument. It usually boils down to Hershey's vs Cadbury's and to me, both are marginally chocolate colored sugar bombs. If i want " sweet" chocolate, I buy the 72% stuff.

They used to be good...back in Canada. In the US they don't make it there, they get them from somewhere else and they don't taste as great. :/

The dark stuff? That's way too bitter! I'll stick with my Coffee Crisp. Just don't eat them often anyways since I have to order them to even get them so... :)
