Finished (view spoiler)[I really liked this book, but I'm not sure I loved it. It gutted me. First, the love triangle. I had to pick between the guy who had always loved Kate and the one that seemed shady. It was easy to side with Beau, but it made it hard to read Kate falling for Asher. Then, bam! Asher's secret is exposed and now I can see what a good guy he really is. I fall for him and then he's gone. :( Now I'm wondering how she'll ever be able to move on. I actually liked that the book showed her doing this, but I was still sad about Asher. But I loved how Beau stuck around. *Sigh* So many emotions. My head hurts. I'm not sure if that's from the huge ugly cry I had or from all of my emotions. I can see why this one made the list. I haven't cried that hard or long reading a book since Bright Side. I can't wait to see what all of you think! I'm going to find a nice, happy book to read now. Well, if I can keep myself from picking up the next one in this series.
Just adding an udate...I read the next novella in the series. I really liked it. It's a continuation of Beau/Kate's story. I wish it would have been included in When it Rains. I think you all should read it when you're finished. (hide spoiler)]

Second I am not afraid of Asher....my working theory is that ...He actually knows Drew!!! and he possibly heard of or saw Drew do it to someone else and kept quiet.....then something happened to that girl....so he feels guilty....you know because Kate said she feels like he already knows her secret.....maybe Drew told him....like bragging....because he is a jerk like that.....okay thats alot....but this book has so many things to think about!! Now we know his secret and it's not what I expected. I still don't think he knows Drew but it is a possibility. There are so many moving pieces to this book. I'm hooked. I am so happy that Kates healing but in the back of my mind I can't help but wait for the other shoe to drop and also Beau. What is going to happen to him?????? So I finished this last night and oh my what a book (view spoiler)[ I am so happy that Kate was able to find Beau after her loss of Asher. I truly cried for most of the ending of this book. I am starting the next one like Deanna suggested. I need to know a little bit more about Beau. For as much as I hated what was happening to Beau, I'm glad he was away at college and not there to see Kate and Asher fall in love. I did fall in love with Asher and am glad he and Kate met. I think she needed someone else to help her. Her rape was wrapped up in everything and everyone from that town and Asher was fresh and insightful in a way she needed. She needed someone broken like her to help her heal. So this is a five star for me (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
