Stripe | 1 comments I read this book probably in the late 1970's. Takes place on a moon base created by aliens that have come to earth to see if we should be allowed to go into space. they kidnap several humans including a woman. one of the aliens studying them falls in love with the woman. there are at least 2 alien species and one of them is aquatic tho they also go on land. The aquatic aliens lay eggs when they reproduce and unknown to the humans the eggs that they have been eating with meals are from those aliens tho they are unfertilized and none of the aliens see a problem with this.

At the end the woman also falls in love with 2 of the aliens and they form a "school" as the aquatic alien says of the 2 males and the human woman.

I think one of the species of aliens were calls Ell's or something similar to that.

This sounds like an interesting take on a common sf premise.

Stripe, what's the main genre or tone - science fiction, romance, erotica, etc.? Male or female author?

Stripe, are you still looking for this or did you find it?

Bargle | 1763 comments I think Rafi's answer is correct. Maybe move this to Possibly Solved?

It will just get lost there. It's better to leave it in Unsolved and give Stripe a chance to respond. We prefer to have the OP request that something be moved to Possibly Solved, rather than have a mod move it there.

No response. Moving to Abandoned.
