Alisa My first reading challenge ever! Don't want to overestimate my abilities, so I am shooting for 35 books in 2016, which is roughly a book every 10 days.

Alisa Never Let Me Go
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
I am so disappointed in this book. No character development. No excitement. Conversational to the point that I don't have not one quote from the book. And the story is so jumpy: X happened near location Y after situation Z. Let me tell you everything about Y and Z and why they are significant and thus how X came about. Ugh!
On the bright side, this book brought back so many memories from my school years.

Alisa Super Sad True Love Story
Super Sad True Love Story by Gary Shteyngart
The idea of the book seemed so great at the beginning, "super sad" that it didn't live up to it's potential. The story line became flat in the second half. However, Shteyngart's language is quite enjoyable!
