Renee | 108 comments Alright, i'm starting with a higher goal this year - hopefully i'm not jinxing myself... I ended up reading a lot more than i thought i would in 2015. For 2016, my goal is to expand what kind of books i read... hopefully GoodReads will help with that!

I'm sure you've noticed your 2015 challenges helped push your reading goal way beyond it's original intent. Hopefully in 2016 you can get suggestions from all of us on the forum to expand your reading even further!

I am personally hoping to read more non-fiction and start reading some plays.

Renee | 108 comments Thanks all! I'm trying to find a good balance between planning my reading, and accepting that most/all of my books are going to be coming from the library's e-books, so i don't always get what i want, when i want it. I'm also a bit too much of an engineer - if i plan too much, i'll start making spreadsheets and graphs and things like that, and it takes all the fun out of it...

2015 was the first year i really started to keep track of what i was reading, and really using Goodreads. That, combined with actually using the library a lot, meant i was amazed by how much i was able to read! I hope 2016 will be similar, and i look forward to everyone's recommendations!

I'm very excited about this next week - all my Christmas house guests have left after a great week of visits, and i still have another week off work, so the plan is to do little other than read! I've been looking forward to this week for a long time!

Jackie B. - Death by Tsundoku (reiwing2040) | 1343 comments I can feel your frustration on not always getting the book you want when you want it. I use my public library for most everything I read, too. But, it helps me with my pacing-- I don't stay up all night reading the next book in a series, for example.

I hope you get a lot of reading done this week! Good luck charging strong into 2016.
