Simon Fletcher Prompted by by my wife challenging me to read only those books I have in the house (as of 1st Jan) and by the fact that I have a significant number of chunky books lying around which I have been promising myself to read for a while, I'm not planning a slightly targeted approach to my reading in 2016 rather than the, read as much as I can approach I've taken before.
Therefore in 2016 I'm planning to read only 30 books. 2 books a month, 1 which has to be over 600 pages long and 1 which has to be from an ongoing series I'm reading. The other 6 books will will be the books chosen by my book club (The KMBC).

Simon Fletcher its usual to break a resolution very soon into a new year not be for the new year has begun but broken this one is. Well only partially broken that is.
so I'm going to close this topic down and start a new one paraphrasing Susan Hill's book Howards End is on the Landing, "A Year of Reading From Home".
