Not Numbered, No Apparent Order

This series is unnumbered, and doesn't seem to be presented in any specific order - not by pub year, alpha by author, alpha by title.

Seems as if it would be hard for users to find something on the list. Any opinions about presenting them in some sort of order, or just leave it.

This seems more of an imprint than a series by GR standards. Found it listed on University of North Carolina Press website UNC Press

By GR standards, they all inhabit they same universe. I sometimes have trouble with non-fiction series, but I'm pretty sure this qualifies.

Looks more like an imprint to me. I see no (visual) coherence among the different titles. I could be wrong, though.

I was asking about presentation rather than legitimacy. I guess I'll wait to see what Rivka has to say. I've thought the same as you two about other non-fiction series, but found to be incorrect. I think they aren't as straight-forward as fiction.

You linked to the series, not to the discussion. It's really strange if that is considered a series, because one of the criteria is that the designation should count for all editions. This originally Dutch book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7... is not part of any series, according to the Dutch National Library.

I see no reason this series wouldn't apply to all editions/publishers of a title, though I recognize that at the present they all have the same publisher.

As far as I can see, all editions of all works are part of the series -- which does seem to meet that criteria for non-fiction.

As far as order, personally I'd go with original publication date, if nothing else seems obvious.

Thanks. I finally decided to sort alpha by title, that people might find that the easiest way to look for other titles. (And besides that was easier because the orig pub date doesn't show on the series edit page.)
