Personality: (five sentences minimum) Maurelle is an entire mystery to strangers, and she wants to keep it that way. However, despite her introverted personality, she is really warm towards her good friends, who consider her very funny and entertaining. She was born within the Dark universe, and part of her hopes that that is not where she'll end up in her eternity, though another part tells her that it has its perks and that she might even enjoy it. Considering that her kind rarely make it to be 30, she tries to do something selfless every day, as she knows that she may not be around much longer. Still, she asks herself where her true self may get her.

Once, in her late teens, Clementine became infatuated with an attractive boy she worked with at an independent bookstore. The job didn't pay very well and working conditions weren't pleasant, but it was still a decent summer job.
It wasn't until she began to suspect that the interest was mutual that she started to talk to him outside of their usual "hello" and "you forgot to stock aisle 3", and more words were returned.
They became good friends, hung out quite regularly. And when she asked him on a date he did not hesitate.
She has hated herself ever since for letting herself fall so god damn hard, shattering herself when she hit the empty bottom of the well.
They dated for about a year or so.
There was no warning before he died.
Of course, you can't possibly know when icy roads are going to send the only person you've ever cared about off a cliff. However she still feels that she should have known.
Clementine has not let herself become close to anyone ever since.

Fᴜʟʟ Pʜʏsɪᴄᴀʟ Dᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ:

Thick, waist-length, dark brown hair spills over her shoulders and frames her pale, heart shaped face.
She has a thin, long neck, full lips with warm brown eyes, long eyelashes and thick eyebrows which are barely a shade darker than her hair.
Standing at about 5 feet and 6 inches tall, Clementine weights roughly 115 pounds. However, her weight tends to rise and fall so it is quite difficult to get and exact number.
Despite her hourglass frame, Clementine has a flat chest and not much of a rear.
Her arms are thin while her legs are more so on the thicker side.
She has long, slender fingers, wears a shoe size 7, and has a faint scar stretching from the end of her eyebrow to her hairline across her left temple.

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:

Clementine is very stubborn but also very independent.
She hardly enjoys the company of others despite the fact that she consistently goes to bars and nightclubs come the weekend.
Being hot headed, she manages scare off most of the people who she feels close to.
Constantly questioning her decisions and her sanity, Clementine is unable to feel safe or secure unless she is alone in her apartment with the lights turned off.
Despite her paranoia, Clem is kind and loyal if you get to know her. If she lets you, you will see that she isn't completely shrouded in her fear and anger.

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ:

Clementine first started drinking when her elder brother died in a car accident after being hit by a drunken man in a battered old truck. She heard that the man had been going so fast that they found the rust of his vehicle in the body of her brother, who had been sitting in the passenger seat.
She can not remember if she had been close to him, though. Having worked so hard to push the subject away over the years, it would be a shame to know now.
She had been around 15 years of age. Which, of course, was much under the legal drinking age but it didn't stop her. Her own mother didn't stop her.
Perhaps she hadn't even noticed, being overly concerned with bedding any man in sight and all.

Clem's father had disappeared without warning sometime in the months following her birth. It has never bothered her, however, at any time in her life afterwards.

After a two years of struggle, she managed to limit her drinking to weekends and meltdowns.
Unfortunately, the ghastly habit was reignited after the death of her boyfriend. He had spun off a cliff in the middle of an icy blizzard.
It had been a week before they found his body.
This had been roughly three weeks before her nineteenth birthday.

The following year, when her sister passed, is when her sanity began to slip away.
Louise, her sister, had thrown herself off a bridge.
There might have been signs. But their mother probably didn't notice them. Clementine occasionally theorized that her mother had been part of the problem.
She had been moved out for a year and a half before it happened. She sometimes thinks it was her fault for leaving Louise with their mother.
Clementine had heard the myths about the two universes and the mirror connecting them. After her sister died, she began to occasionally turn off the lights in her bedroom and talk to the mirror, but only when she was fairly drunk and her roommate wasn't home. Eventually she started to talk to the mirror when she was sober and feeling lonely. She would try to talk to her siblings and her friends through it. And sometimes they would talk back.
She had herself convinced that it was simply her delusions.
When her youngest singer went missing, she began to ask the mirror where she was.

The shadows in the mirror don't talk to her anymore. Perhaps they never did. But maybe they can still hear her.
