Has there been a change in the Goodreads font?

Joy, I looked by at my other messages and they seemed the same but when I pressed on yours it seemed smaller and now that I am answering you this seems larger. Neither are like the other messages from Goodreads. Does this help?
No, Nina. All past Goodreads messages in my files have this different font lately. There's been no change in size.

PS-I complained at the GR Feedback group. See my post at:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Please add to that thread. Thanks.
PPS-They told me to see the following thread:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
The thread is called: "Announcements > Visual Design Changes"
Joy, you can also provide feedback for the Goodreads management about the new font and other changes at this link: https://www.goodreads.com/blog/show/5...? . I've complained about it on both threads; like others who have posted above, I find it more difficult to read. Both threads have thousands of comments by now; the great majority of Goodreads users who've voiced an opinion seem to be against the changes, and there are a lot of reports of the new font causing headaches for some people who read it.There's some information about a free app called Stylish, which some Goodreads users say can help modify the new font so that it's easier to read, at this link: www.goodreads.com/review/show/1470186122 . (There's more information, and additional links, in the comments beneath the main text.) So far I haven't had time to try this, but I intend to ASAP.
My office computer may have a similar app, because there the font is different, and is clear and readable. From some comments I've read, the new font also doesn't seem to show noticeably for Goodreads users who access the site through their cell phones. But it's definitely noticeable on my home PC!
Thanks for the link, Werner. I began reading the details at the Feedback Group but then my eyes glazed over. Too much to take in. I think I'll just have to adapt to the changes.

The material at the link dealing with the Stylish app isn't as long. Once I've tried that (which might not be until after Christmas), I'll let the group know what results I get.
When nothing is wrong why fix it? That is my thought, not that it matters. So who got the brainstorm to change the font in the first place? Not the readers...
Nina, it seems that they made a number of changes in the "visual design", not just the font. I guess they thought of it as an improvement. "Change is one thing, progress is another. ... progress is a matter of controversy."

Earlier today, I finally checked out the app that modifies the new font. As noted above, it's free; and it literally took only about 30 seconds to install, although it does require restarting your computer. I'm very pleased with the results! It doesn't fix the font on any of the text the Goodreads management creates; but it does change the font in your own and others' comments and reviews to a readable script, both as you're typing and when you're reading finished texts. (It also changes the background to reduce glare.) If I'd known it was this easy to install, I'd have done so much earlier! Here's a more direct link to the program itself: https://userstyles.org/styles/121888/... .

In any case, I prefer it the way it was.
