I have so many questions. I am obsessed but also annoyed at everyone who makes me read Kristoff books. They have no regard for my heart strings. lol

Also, I was super surprised that Kady went in search of her mother first. I don't think that I should have been but I definitely thought she had already given up hope she was alive. (hide spoiler)]

So because of the damage he sustains at the Kerenza attack he's been changed. Basically he's not acting the way he should, hence all the problems and attachment to Kady

I think it was really skillful how the authors showed the change in the AIs self-concept and personality. At first it seemed manipulative, genderless and uncaring, but later it began to express philosophical ideas and started to become a "he" (I'm not sure if it actually wrote this or if it was implied?)

I 100% agree! It was interesting to see the transition. I don't think it ever expressly says but is rather implied. Although, the reality is that the readers could simply be implying it because of the obsession with Kady. I haven't gotten to any part that would lead me to believe it is a he except that.

I like the way it’s written and the design of the book is amazing!! Even the cover of the book (I’ve got the hardback) is stunning, there’s this see through red book cover and the white hardback has the same file aesthetic that’s in the book on it and it looks like an actual file that’s been written in and some stuff scratched and all

(view spoiler)[ It is such an interesting book so far! The action in the very beginning when their planet was being attacked! It was totally crazy and so many lives were lost. Kady and Ezra make it out alive but now have both very different lives on the ship. Kady is trying to figure out if there is a cover up regarding one of their ships being blown up by one their own. Ezra is in the military but has been confused as to what is going on as well. There is also enemies chasing them and so much corruption. I have so many questions: Why did the AI attack their own ship? What is this mysterious disease that was on the ship? Who is trying to cover up everything that is going on? Will Kady and Ezra keeping working together and solve what's going on? I am excited to find out more. (hide spoiler)]

They are working together to try and work things out on what happened to the events leading up to the Copernicus being blown up. After, Ezra's friend Jimmy goes missing, he enlist the help of Kady to use her hacking skills to figure out what really happened. He helps Kady by getting her into the mainframe of the Alexander ship. (hide spoiler)]

AIDAN: (view spoiler)[ When the destruction of the Copernicus happened, nobody really knew the reason why. That is until Kady and Byron find out that AIDAN had direct orders to shoot down the people that escaped the destruction. After that incident, the head officers had to shut down AIDAN because he basically had a mind of his own. I wonder if he will have a mind of his own again and go crazy and try to kill everyone or will he take a certain interest into the main characters. (hide spoiler)]

Biochemical Agent/ Virus: (view spoiler)[ When the enemy planet attacked Kerenza, they used some sort of biochemical weapon to ensure that any survivors that have left the planet will be effected by this virus (that we do not know anything about yet). It also does not help that the air filtration does help get rid of this viral infection. I wonder what it does to the patients and what happens to the other people that will get infected. Phobos: (view spoiler)[ This is honestly so crazy on how their enemies have created a virus that if anybody looks at anyone infected directly in the eyes, they will kill them instantly because of how angry and raging they are. That is how most of the people on the Copernicus were effected and killed and that is why AIDAN took charge and decided to kill them. (Even though the AI was not in the right state of mind). I wonder if there is a cure for this virus or how someone cannot be infected because it is honestly crazy how it was created. (hide spoiler)]

Ezra: (view spoiler)[ After finding out what had happen, Ezra learns that his friend Jimmy may be infected or dead because he was left behind in hanger bay 4. He is trying his best to figure out if there is anyway to save them but Kady keeps trying to convince him not too because it can be too dangerous for him and she is the only one she has left. (she lost her mother but she might have survive but could be infected or dead) (hide spoiler)]

AIDAN intel: (view spoiler)[ So the captain of one of the ships found out that AIDAN went haywire and has a mind of his own. She said she did not want any part of this but Torrence (who i think lost his humanity) does not care. She dies trying to protect her crew and Byron gets taken away to the Alexander. Now with the Lincoln drawing closer and closer, the only solution is to turn on AIDIAN and hope that he does not go back to his crazy self. (which i think will happen) Kady and Byron are trying to figure out a code for AIDAN to send to the Lincoln's main control and destroy the ship all together. (hide spoiler)]

AIDAN: (view spoiler)[ Okay, Reading AIDAN parts were low-key terrifying and it is the exact reason why I do not trust AI. He kind of remind me of Gladys and we all know how that turned out. I feel like when the enemies attacked the planet, it might have messed his hardwire frame to make him go crazy or that he gain conscious all on his own. After the battle, he kept saying "Am I not merciful" (which was really creepy) and opened hanger bay 4 to let all the infected escape and attack everyone aboard the Alexander. It was insane seeing how AIDAN could have helped them and try stopping them, but decided he wanted to be the hero and not be shut down. I also think he is using Ezra in some way to get Kady to come aboard the Alexander so she can fix him. (I think he is developing feelings for her). It just scares me to think that he was made to protect people and then because he was damaged, his desires suddenly change into evil ones. I wonder what will happen when the Lincoln catches up to the Alexander? Will it destroy the AI think there is survivors on the ship? or will the AI convince them and somehow work together? (making it harder for the main characters to get justice.) (hide spoiler)]

Battle: (view spoiler)[ I was feeling super intense reading the battle scenes against the Lincoln. Seeing how everyone is fighting for their lives against the enemy fighter jets and loosing so many lives before the AI got turned back on. Ezra actually impressed me and he was killing it (no pun intended) and trying to force back the enemy. I was getting worried that Kady was going to lose the only person she had left after the attack (since she thinks she lost her mom to the explosion and her cousin). I wonder if they both survive and make it to the station, how will the effect of the Lincoln and the enemy group affect how they will spread the word? (hide spoiler)]

Phobos/Survivors: (view spoiler)[ This virus that BioTech created is honestly insane. Seeing how everyone aboard the ship is either being infected or killing everyone off, i ever wonder if there is a cure? Reading the messages between Kady and Ezra, on how these people are being slaughtered is kind of gross. I don't know how i would handle that situation because if you look at them, they will go crazy and attack. Also some survivors made it off the ship and the captain of the Hypatia said to be quarantine (if any symptoms start showing). When she purged the survivors into space via airlock because one was showing symptoms, it honestly freaked me out. I want to see how this virus will transition over into the other books. Kady: (view spoiler)[ I knew once she found out that Ezra was still aboard the Alexander that she would try to be the heroine and save him. Honestly, it was still kind of badass but also dumb on her part because she could have still been killed by the crazy psychos aboard the Alexander. What broke my heart when she found out what happened to her Mom, Jimmy, Byron and Ezra's friend Dorian (who was affected by the Phobos virus). Firstly, it broke my heart reading all about these and i became very emotional by the very end of it. What broke me the most is when Kady found Jimmy's video of his will and i was a bawling mess (he was honestly my favourite character). Each of these characters that passed away had a little piece in my heart and I hope there memory gets remembered. (hide spoiler)]

AIDAN: (view spoiler)[ This AI is fucking psychotic! When i read that AIDAN pretended to be Ezra to get Kady to come aboard the Alexander to fix him, I was pissed! I mean i understand that she was the only one that could fix him because everyone else either refused or was dead. Then he has the nerve to tell her after she has lost everyone that Ezra was dead (I honestly hope not because I really like him). I feel like he has some form of feelings for her but can't actually express it cause he is a AI or he is just plan psycho. Kady agreed to help on one condition; that the 1,000 healthy survivors try to escape with her help and make it aboard the Hypatia and he agreed. (hide spoiler)]

Survivors: (view spoiler)[ It really cool reading about how Kady help these survivors try to get pass these passengers infected by Phobos and to get them to safety. Reading this part of the book, I was stressing because I wanted everyone to survive, but in reality, not everyone can make if they do not have the skills to attack or survive. By the end of the ordeal: she saved under 700 healthy survivors and safely got them aboard the Hypatia, where they would be monitored and checked if they have the virus. I hope we can see in the future that Kady is awarded something for her efforts or she meets these survivors who can personally thank her. (hide spoiler)]
