She was the one who told the Captain about what happened to AIDEN, holy crap that part was crazy. I still can't figure out if her mom died. She was on the Copernious when is was fired on but Erza said she saw someone in a window. Where the heck is Kady's dad at? (hide spoiler)]

45% I am enjoying learning more about Ezra's personality. I think he was portrayed as an immature character to begin with, but starting to see some growth when Kady reveals about her mothers situation. It is adorable how the two of them lean on each other for moral support, but I do want to see more of how Kady works to do this for Ezra. (It feels sort of one sided right now).

80% PLOT TWISTS! OMG I am so shocked! But in a way, not as shocked as I could've been.... I mean I think I sort of knew, without realizing what was happening, since the messages from Ezra sort of changed as the book progressed. I just didn't want to notice that anything was off.... probably in the same way Kady didn't :(

Ezra is adorable and (view spoiler)[ definitely grows up when he's conscripted into the army and has to fly ships. He cares about her a lot and it would be nice to see Kady reciprocate some feelings (hide spoiler)]
