Barbara Tarn (barbaragtarn) Just one question:
it's a beta-read if the book is not published and a review if it's already out and on the market?
Thanks! :)
Barb

Entrada Book Review | 220 comments Hi Barb,

Technically you are correct. But you could do a beta read for a book that's already done - you just get a different type of report at the end of where you feel that it could improve, what the strengths were, etc.

The end product of a review is that you end up with a nice little summary at the end - which you hope is positive :) so you can use that in marketing.

Both involve someone objectively reading your book - but with different work product results.

Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Rachel
