Hi Mercedes, I would love to be interviewed. I do interviews myself on my blog, and I'm always looking for unusual stories to go with the author I'm promoting. Right now I'm working on an interview with an author and (former) female Marine who fell in love with her interpreter while stationed in Afghanistan, and all the gut-wrenching trials she had to go through as a result. If you're interested in interviewing her, or me, let me know. You can view my trailer for my most recent book at www.lindaberry.net.
Glad to see you're back and willing to provide this valuable service to authors!I have published two crime thrillers, D*E*D Dead and Ded Reckoning: Vengeance Takes a Road Trip. I have done a couple interviews, and have really enjoyed the experience.
Thanks again for this opportunity, and I wish you well.

I have a new digital book out from Crossroad Press. It's part of Crossroad's ongoing O.C.L.T. series of stand-alone titles - a Lovecraftian tale that involves a search for secret history amid Irish ruins. Happy to do interviews on the tale. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFGKPF1/
Hello Mercedes,I'd love to be interviewed. I'm a science fiction, fantasy, and romance author. Here is the link to my latest novel. "Kissing the Intern: A Multicultural Romance"

Let me know what you think.

I would be keen if it's not too late to put my name forward. I'm a New Zealand based author if that's of any interest. I have four novels out - and here's a link to my website for more information. www.keithasmith.co.nz
I have three books on Amazon, also a novella and a volume of poetry. I write from my experiences being an Army wife and newspaper reporter. I have a women's fiction, a memoir, and a mystery with spiritual overtones. Would love the exposure. How encouraging of you to do this for us struggling authors.
This sounds great, Mercedes. I would be interested. I write scifi and horror. I've got a book about training dogs to track zombies.-Doug
Hello Mercedes: If you're still open for business I would like to be added to your growing list. I'm a new author of the e-book sort, if that doesn't disqualify me, then I would appreciate your consideration. I'm not sure how one would rate my genre, I call them short stories written in verse, and sometimes call them songs, I might need an outside source to be the judge of that some day. Anyway I've published 3 of them with Kindle this year. There again it's your call to decide if I qualify as an author.Thank You Robert
Dear Mercedes,What a great thing to do!
I'm a new author and my debut novel came out at the end of August. It's called The Artist's Muse and it is historical fiction. I've got a website ( https://theartistsmuseblog.wordpress....) and you can see reviews either here on Goodreads or on Amazon
( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Artists-Muse... ). I'm currently working on my second novel. I would really love to be interviewed if you have the time.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Kerry
Thanks Mercedes. I'm interested in an interview if you have the time and space. I write historical fiction set in New Zealand about the ordinary immigrants who came to this country for a better life set amid the history of the late Victorian era.

Mercedes' blog certainly exists - I've been interviewed by her too. I think she has just overlooked a couple of interested authors. You can contact me through the website if you are interested.

Dear All,I have just agreed to do a guest post for Lauren Faulkenberry and she is doing one for me.
In this article (see link below) are 10 ideas for writing a guest post to increase traffic to your website:
http://www.parajunkee.com/blog/2014/0...
We will each pick one of these ideas, and have agreed to exchange our articles by next Friday 24th November.
I will also read and post a review of Lauren's book here and she will do one for me.
(I have free audio books available at my website www.datingdaisy.net - if anyone wants one - these
we produced recently on ACX, with my narrator Catherine Carter.)
I am really excited about this idea. If anyone else would like to join in please email me
at daisy.sharer@gmail.com. It would be great to have a group of authors joining in!
Kind regards,
Daisy

Joseph and Daisy, you have both completely hijacked the thread of the original poster. Not the way to be supportive of other authors or bloggers. It's just rude.

This has happened in at least one other thread about doing interviews with authors. It's unnerving and, as you say, kinda rude.
Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all. I have done interviews online and a few in person. If interested please find below a little information about me and my work at: https://unholypursuit.wordpress.com/2...
My debut novel "UnHoly Pursuit: The Devil on My Trail" was published by Muses' Port in 2016. I look forward to getting know you all and always welcome any questions. Thanks for taking time to read this. Have a nice holiday season.
The Devil on My Trail
Faith (and Eileen) wrote: "Joseph and Daisy, you have both completely hijacked the thread of the original poster. Not the way to be supportive of other authors or bloggers. It's just rude."Faith and Eileen, my apologies. I had no intention of being rude or hijacking the thread.
This thread seemed to be about doing interviews hence my posting here. It's along the lines of "why do burger joints build next to other burger joints? Because that's where burger eaters are." Or "Why do you rob banks? Because that's where the money is."
Probably more in keeping with authors and marketing, if you're selling an off-world sf novel, do you use "holiday cooking" as one of your keywords?
Anyway, my goal was to add to the conversation by offering an additional interview outlet, not offend those reading the thread. People can do all interviews and I hope they do! Cross-pollination and all that.

Eileen and Faith, I'm not quite sure what you are saying here. What is rude about what Joseph and Faith are doing? I'm participating with both of them and have found it a great experience. Can you clarify? Thanks.

Read the first post in this thread. It is for a specific blogger who is willing to promote other authors by doing interviews. For other bloggers to suddenly jump in and try to siphon off potential interviewees is hijacking the thread. They should start their own threads.
