That's my plan. I'm still writing and the blog gets us all traffic. I have no intentions of stopping the interviews.

message 118: by Drae (new)

Drae Box (draebox) Hi Mercedes!

If you're still available for interviews, I would be happy to take part in one. I'm a fantasy author with two books out at the moment, and I will be releasing between 2 - 7 more this year too :)

Thank you for the opportunity.

message 119: by Wes (new)

Wes Choc | 2 comments Interviews about my area of interest ARE fun (no matter what!). And, as an act of human engagement on the subject of writing ...also fun. My rather narrow genre niche could use some expansion. So, yes, I would enjoy talking about my two books, the genre itself, and the act of putting words onto paper.

message 137: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Hughson (sharon_lee_hughson) | 1 comments Mercedes-
I have four works attached to my Goodreads author page. Two are short romances in anthologies, one is a novella and the other is a young adult fantasy short story, also in an anthology.
I am currently working on a young adult dystopian novel that is a spin-off from the short story in the IN THE BEGINNING anthology being released in October 2016, at the request of the publisher. I hope that will become a three-book contract and get me started on my dream of writing young adult fiction (fantasy and speculative).
I would enjoy a chance to be interviewed...as well as the opportunity to widen my circle of author friends here on Goodreads.
Sharon

message 144: by Gray (new)

Gray Hammond | 12 comments Just found this group on LinkedIn, "Author Review Swap".

From their group page: A resource for both published and unpublished authors. Published authors contract personally to review each others' work on a one-for-one basis, and the review is posted on the other's Amazon review page. On the same one-for-one basis, unpublished authors can share constructive criticism with both published and unpublished authors.

FYI, Gray

Thanks, Gray! I didn't know about this group. (I do need to explore such sites far more than I do!) I've just asked to join.

message 148: by Gene (last edited Feb 16, 2016 07:35PM) (new)

Gene Ruyle (plainsmann) | 5 comments Hello, Mercedes ~

I would be most interested to take part in the author interviews you are arranging. My book, The Stuff of a Lifetime: Self, Sense, Soul, and Spirit in Human Experience, was published in both hardbound and paperback, and has now been brought out in e-book format by Open Road as its publisher. Like you, I also blog (at WordPress) and maintain a Google+ profile for stand-alone media pieces. My home website (www.generuyle.com) is at the Authors Guild in NY. Now that the book is at long last released as an e-book, a brand new website, The Human Realm, is being opened totally devoted to exploring and further developing its overall topic.

With keen interest in and sincere gratitude,

Gene

message 150: by Jeffrey (new)

Jeffrey Seeds | 5 comments I'd be very happy to do an interview, if you're still taking requests. My novel, Frank Lee, is available for 4 more days for free download on Kindle, so that you can get a taste of whether or not it's the kind of material you'd be interested in.

"Frank Lee is an around-the-globe lampoon of the modern age full of horny pirates and crazy philosophers, secret societies and lesbian anarchists, religious nuts and diamond mines, tsunamis and hallucinations, with special appearances by the Dalai Lama and Karl Rove. An advance review described the novel as Big Fish meets Candide."
