Bianca thought for a moment before shrugging. "Can we go somewhere there's food? I'm really hungry," she told him with a smile, looking at his eyes. "So what colour are your eyes?" she asked, wondering if he wore contacts that were the same colour or if he changed them like she knew some people did with their contacts.
~
"I haven't actually done anything that bad before I started working so I know so much more on my boss than you can find on me and even then, I can totally lie well enough to blame it all on someone else," she replied, tapping her fingernails against her phone. "Well my friend decided that it was a great idea to confront someone that he really shouldn't have so I need Dan Harmon's credit card details to see if he's cheating so I can use it as blackmail. That or a decent enough forgery," she told him, running her hand through her hair and tipping her head back to look at the ceiling. "I am going to kill someone," she muttered to herself.

---
"Yeah, just because you say that doesn't mean you're being honest. But it's not worth it to try and waste time to find stuff." Dylan mumbled. He listened as she explained what she needed. He probably could do that sitting there in the coffee shop. "Go ahead and kill someone then, just don't kill me.." He told her, taking the laptop out again and plugging a flash drive into it. He waited a minute before taking it out and putting it back in his pocket. It had all the information that the computer needed for it to boot up from the factory reset.
Bianca tilted her head to the side as she thought about it for a moment. She knew that she should probably stay on campus and get to know the place better but she had plenty of time to do that. "Can we go somewhere else?" she asked, her eyebrows rising a fraction when she did. "The shade varies. How so?" she inquired curiously, wanting to see his eyes without contacts now but she would never say that to him.
~~
Scarlett shrugged at him, running her fingers through the end of her hair. "Believe what you will. You can look as hard as you want though, you're not going to find anything bad on me. But if I'm not worth your time then oh well," she replied, biting her lip and looking over at the counter, wondering if it was worth her while to get another cup of coffee. "I'm not going to kill you. Obviously. I need you," she told him, a light smirk barely touching her lips. "See you're actually smart about things, unlike plenty of other people who just seem to want to make life more difficult," she added with a soft, bitter laugh.

--
Dylan rolled his eyes at her. He typed into his computer, going to the Internet and starting to work. "Life is difficult enough as it is. I see no point in making it harder." He said with a shrug as he worked to get her information. He bit his bottom lip lightly, focused on his computer. He'd prefer to do stuff like this at his apartment, that way nobody would see him working and get suspicious.
Bianca followed him, her jagged fingernail cutting her hand as she walked out with him. She couldn't even feel the slight sting that it gave anymore, it just didn't register with her. A hint of satisfying excitement bubbled in her chest when he mentioned taking them out. She knew that he couldn't sleep with them in so she wondered if she'd get to see him without them on. "I like your car," she complimented when she saw it. It was old and worn but it meant it had character, history, memories.
~~
Scarlett's smile widened at his words, uncrossing and recrossing her legs the opposite way. "Thank you. You understand," she replied jokingly. She stopped talking to let him work, wanting to get the information as soon as she could and just go home to get some sleep. She knew that life was going to be busy when she got to college and she knew that it was going to be even worse when she got her job but she didn't expect the work load that she had. Her nails tapped against her leg as she waited impatiently. She would never admit how stressed she was but it was draining her out.

Dylan nodded and continued to work. He sighed softly, hearing her tapping. "If you want to be impatient, I recommend sitting somewhere else because distractions will only slow me down.." He mumbled as he took out his phone and earbuds. Music helped him focus so he turned on his music and put one earbud in his ear. He continued to work, trying to get her the right information.
Bianca got in the passenger seat and clicked her belt into place before looking over at him with a raised eyebrow. "Not you car? Who's is it?" she asked curiously, only hoping she hadn't crossed any lines as soon as the words were out of her mouth. She bit her bottom lip as she thought about his question but shrugged and shook her head in the end. "Nope. I'm fine with wherever you think is good," she answered with a light smile.
~~~
Scarlett furrowed her eyebrows, tilting her head to the side as her eyes scrutinized him. He was odd. That much she'd deduced. She was usually able to play anyone she met like a fiddle but he was different and she wasn't sure whether she liked it or whether she hated the fact that she was drawn to him for some reason. Leaning forward, she rested her elbow on the table and set her chin down in the palm of her hand as she continued to watch him work with interest.
---
Dylan worked quickly, finding the information that she needed. He bit his lip lightly, scanning through it. It looked like the right info that she wanted. He set the computer on the table, tilting it so she could see it. "Those are all of his cards that I could locate.." He said, pointing out the different tabs that each had statements for each card.
Bianca opened her mouth to ask about his sister but she decided against it, still wanting to get him to like her more than she was willing to let her curiosity get the better of her. She didn't want to push him when she could tell he was already open with her. "Well that sounds good. Anywhere you want to go first?" she asked, glancing out the window before looking back at Nix.
~~~
When he was finished getting the information, she dropped her arm and leaned forward as her eyes quickly scanned over the screen. A sly smile curved her lips and she picked up her phone and took a picture of the screen, planning on cropping out everything she needed when she had the time. "You are amazing," she told him, actually being sincere as she looked up from the computer to him. "I seriously don't know how I can repay you for this," she added as she dropped her phone into her pocket.

---
"You've called in two favors on me. I just may do the same someday." Dylan replied. He waited until she had the info before just closing his laptop and putting it in his backpack. He bit his lip, looking at her.
"Oh, okay," she replied, her lips pressing together as she started to feel awkward. She knew that she should be trying but she really didn't know what else to do. She wanted to be friends with him but she knew that she couldn't force it and she still didn't know whether or not he even wanted to get to know her. Sure he was showing her around but that was probably only out of obligation. "Of course," she answered, taking the phone from him and quickly replying to the message before handing it back to him. "Who's that? A friend?" she asked, hoping it wasn't too nosy.
~~~
Scarlett nodded, feeling the relief wash over her as some of the stress melted away. She knew he didn't know how much it meant to her and she wasn't about to tell him just in case it bumped up the size of the favors he'd ask of her. Pushing away from the table, she stood up and brushed her hair over one shoulder. "Well, it's been real. And it's been fun. But it hasn't been real fun," she said, a joking tone teasing the edges of her voice. "I'll see you around. You've got my number if you ever need to call in those favors," she told him, walking around the table and leaning down, pressing a kiss to his cheek before straightening up and shooting him a wink as she walked out.
Dylan nodded. He let her kiss his cheek, not caring. He rolled his eyes at her when she winked. Dylan stayed in the coffee shop for a few minutes before grabbing his backpack and walking out to his motorcycle. He sighed, got on, started it and drove home.
"Oh, okay," she replied softly, nearly cringing when he sighed. She hoped that he wasn't annoyed at her or anything. She just wanted to get to know him better but she did understand that it was going to take some time. "Shall we go?" she asked when they stopped, opening the door and getting out. "I much prefer cities to small towns. I used to live in a city but my parents moved us out to a small town when I found my powers. I guess they were hoping to cover it up. I've always wanted to move back to the city though," she chatted, hoping her speaking might open him up a little bit more.
~~~
((Anywhere in particular that you want to go from here?))

((Anywhere in particular that you want to go from here?))

---
((Not really. I was hoping you had an idea.))
Bianca walked alongside him, her eyes wandering around as she took in everything. "I like the noise. I grew up falling asleep to the noise. It feels too quiet in a small town," she answered, scuffing her heels against the ground as she walked. "Plus I like people. They're...interesting. Yeah. Interesting," she added, tilting her head to the side as she thought.
~~~
((Well we could do an accidental run in, Dylan could decide to call in a favor, Scarlett could make up a reason to see him again or maybe something went wrong with the information he gave her? Any of those interest you?))
~~~

----
((What about maybe something about Dylan's hacking gets found out and they make a case against him and he calls in a favor from her, needing help to keep him out of jail?))
Bianca's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Nix, her eyebrows furrowing just barely. She opened her mouth to say something but she wasn't sure how he would respond. Still, she was more worried than curious so she figured it could be alright. "Are you okay?" She asked, a small frown tugging at the sides of her lips, her hand gently resting on the top of his arm.
~~~
((Ooh, okay, I like it. ^.^ Do you want to start with that then?))
((Sure))
Dylan needed help. Someone at his work had gotten suspicious and gone through his work computer. He typically wouldn't use it to hack, unless he couldn't get home or something. He was at his apartment, deciding if he needed to wipe all his computers. Dylan grabbed his phone and sent Scarlett a text. 'I'm calling in a favor. This is serious and I need help.' Dylan didn't like admitting stuff like that but it was true.
Bianca pulled her hand back when she shook it off. The gesture had been instinctive so she just hoped that she hadn't gone too far. "It's fine," she assured him with a small smile and a shrug. "I'm not going to pry," she added, tucking some hair behind her ear. "Are you sure there's nothing that I can do?" she asked, just in case. He was her roommate now, she wanted to make sure that she could help him however she could.
~~~
Scarlett was in her pajamas, her hair thrown up in a messy bun, her bed covered with books and papers, one highlighter in her hand and the other between her teeth. She heard the ping of her phone and started rooting through books until she found it. Frowning at the name, she opened in and her eyes widened. Opening her mouth, she dropped the highlighter on the bed and called Dylan immediately. "What's going on and what can I do?" she asked as soon as he picked up, already starting to close her books and get up off her bed so she could start getting dressed.

Dylan picked up on the first ring. "I don't know. Someone went through my computer at work. They found evidence that I've hacked stuff from that computer. So. I really don't know what's gonna happen but I'm guessing they probably are gonna launch an investigation which will bring in the cops." He explained, biting his lip. He was doing his best to not freak out or worry.
Bianca nodded, feeling bad that she couldn't help him. She at least knew that helping him would get him to warm up to her, at least a bit. Shaking her head at him, she shrugged, a smile lighting her eyes. "Don't be sorry Nix. I just want to make sure that you're alright. There's no need to be sorry for anything," she assured him, tilting her head to the side as she looked at him.
~~~
Scarlett clenched her jaw, her mind racing as she started to formulate plans. "Okay. I know it must be tempting but you can't get rid of anything on your computers. If you're going to do anything, bury it as far as possible. If you wipe everything and they come looking, it'll look more than suspicious," she advised him, holding the phone between her head and her shoulder as she changed clothes. "You've gotta tell me everything that happened. Everything. And I'm gonna need to come over."
"Okay." Dylan nodded. He put her on speaker so he could make sure stuff was hidden and keep talking to her. "I'll tell you everything when you get here." He told her. He gave her his address even though he didn't really want to. Getting help was more important than remaining anonymous to her.
Bianca felt a bright smile stretch her lips when he asked about her. The had been hoping to make some sort of progress with him and it seemed to be working. "I decided to see if a parachute was really necessary for jumping out of a plane," she answered with a shrug and a proud grin. "My parents decided that was the last straw and sent me here." After a moment, she let out a small laugh. "It wasn't necessary by the way. The pain was excruciating but it was totally worth it," she added."
~~~
"I'll be right over," Scarlett told him, hanging up and pulling on her shirt before picking up her keys and bag and heading out the door. She sped towards the address he gave her as fast as she could, not even caring that she was a bit of a mess with her hair thrown up in a bun, an old hoodie thrown on, a worn pair of jeans and no makeup on. Checking her phone once again, she knocked on the door and waited impatiently for him to answer the door.

---
Dylan quickly got up when he heard her knock. He unlocked the door to his apartment and pulled it open. He was wearing a plain t shirt and jeans. "Hey. Thanks." He told her, stepping back so she could come in.
Not liking the silence and not wanting to pry any information that wasn't given, Bianca decided that she was just going to continue talking. "I've done most things, just to see if I could. I've gotten my hand cut off, walked in and out of a bonfire, jumped down waterfalls and broken my legs. I've done a lot purely to see if I could. The pain brings a rush of adrenaline, the anxiety of doing it brings a rush. I love it," she rambled as she started to walk.
~~~
Scarlett walked inside when he stepped back, ignoring her urge to just look around and turning to face him instead as she closed the door behind her. "I'd say no problem but it is. So, tell me what happened. As much of it as you can remember," she instructed, pulling a notepad from her bag and a pen from her bun, her hands poised to take down notes as she waited for him to start.
Dylan nodded. His entire apartment was clean and neat. He went back over to where his computer was and sat down. He was working to hide all evidence of any hacks that he had done. Dylan started to explain from the beginning.
Bianca nodded in agreement, finding his conclusion pretty accurate. "Yeah, I guess that's the term. People can't take it. They get attached, then they get worried because they care. But I don't. I just don't care. And so they leave me alone because they can't stand it but what about me? I don't mean to sound selfish about it but everyone I've ever been close to has left me alone because they couldn't handle me. But for some reason, I still haven't given up trying to find someone who won't leave because I think playing chicken with a monster truck is fun," she told him with a sigh, having no qualms about sharing her life story and her inner thoughts. She had always been open like that with people.
~~~
Scarlett nodded periodically as she took down notes, trying to comprehend all the information he was giving her as she tried to come up with a strategy. She wasn't a lawyer so she couldn't actually represent him but she could help. "That's the best advice I can give you," she told him when he was done. "Don't wipe anything but bury everything as deep as you can. Make it impossible to find. If it comes to it, we don't have to prove you're innocent, they have to prove your guilty. No one's gonna testify to obtain illegal information because that will incriminate themselves and if you can bury that information then they won't have that evidence."

"Alright." Dylan nodded. He sighed softly as he continued to work. He had already taken care of his laptop. He just had his big computer to work on. He used it for most of his work so it'd take him a while. There wasn't a lot of evidence to begin with. If they looked at places he hacked, they wouldn't find anything cause he always covered his tracks.
Bianca looked over at him and smiled, nodding slightly. "Thank you. You understand. People think that it's weird when I tell them that. They don't understand but then again, they're normal people," she said with a laugh, shrugging her shoulders.
~~~
"So this guy, what's he like?" Scarlett asked, blowing a curl from her face when it fell into her eye but it only fell back again. Frowning, she blew on the piece of hair again, moving her lips slightly until she finally gave up and just brushed the curl back into place. With a small sigh, she turned back to look at Dylan, watching him work on his computer.
"I don't know much. He's a newbie, only been at the company by like a month. He went through my computer, then told my boss." Dylan explained, glancing over at her. He continued to work, hiding anything that might be suspicious. "Thank you. For helping me out."
Bianca's smile brightened when he responded, loving that he was giving her more than one short sentence. "I know everyone has a breaking point but I don't want to find mine. I want to keep going, to keep pushing. The problem with finding my breaking point is that when I do, it's going to nearly kill me. Or just kill me. I'll go too big and I won't be able to come back from it," she replied, frowning at the realisation.
~~~
Scarlett nodded again, frowning as she continued to think about what else she could do. "Well what's your boss like?" she asked, pulling her eyebrows together. She shrugged when he thanked her. "I'm just returning the favor. You helped me when I needed you so I'll help you," she replied, huffing softly when her piece of hair fell into her face again. Pulling the tie from her hair, she shook out her hair out with her hand, pushing it all out of her face.

"Hmm, strict. Very careful, tech geek but not as advanced as I am." He listed, trying to think of how to describe his boss. Dylan bit his lip, still working. He shrugged. "Still, this is a pretty big favor you're doing for me. Unlike what I did for you." He responded.
Bianca's eyes dropped to her feet, a frown still on her lips. She rarely got like this, she didn't like thinking about things like this, it was just too real. "I don't want that. I don't want to go. I came here hoping that I could find people or even a person. But I don't know..." she trailed off before shaking off the mood. "Well that got a little weird," she said with a laugh, brightening up again.
~~~
Nodding, Scarlett scribbled down the bit that he'd given her on his boss. "Is there anything else you can give me? More personality?" she asked as she put her pen down again. "What you did for me was big. Look, I don't mind doing things to repay you for what you did to me. Especially if it's what I'm good at," she insisted, finding her eyes drawn to where he was biting his lip but she shook that off. Or at least she tried to.
"I really don't know him that well. His name is Austin James, if that's any help." Dylan told her. He tried to think of any other useful stuff about his boss for her. He stopped working on his computer, looking over at her. Dylan was still biting his lip, a nervous habit.
Bianca had to grit her teeth to stop some comments from slipping passed her lips, something that hardly ever happened. When he shushed something, she tilted her head to the side and wondered if it was the same thing from earlier. "Are you alright?" she asked again, sounding skeptical even though he hadn't told her anything yet.
~~~
Scarlett wrote down his name, drawing some rough lines underneath it to remind her that it was important to look him up. She was pretty good at convincing people so if she played it right, she could squash his worries before they even became real. When he turned to look at her, she was surprised to feel her stomach do a little flip at the sight, her heart pattering in her chest. A blush crept up her neck and she quickly dropped her eyes to try and avoid embarrassment from him seeing her blush.

----
"Is there anything else I can tell you that might help?" Dylan asked her. He was stressing out about this. He was always careful so didn't know how this could happen.. A part of him thought that the newbie could've been bluffing, lying to try and get him fired but that seemed a little too far-fetched. Dylan tilted his head, thinking he saw her blush. He yawned and shook his head, glancing back at his computer.
Bianca's eyes widened slightly as her curiosity peaked at his revelation. She didn't mean to be intrusive but she was admittedly fascinated by what he was telling her. Furrowing her eyebrows, she tilted her head to the side as she looked at him looking down at his feet. "Have you told anyone about it?" she asked, surprised at the concern in her voice. She didn't see herself as a particularly caring person but there was something about the timid, closed off nature of Nix that made her feel.
~~~
Scarlett blew out a soft, shaky breath and tried to push those feelings out of her head. She was just helping Dylan, returning a favour. He clearly had no interest in her anyway, something that honestly kind of annoyed her. Raking her fingers through the messy curls, she looked back up at Dylan and hoped that all the colour had left her cheeks. "Is he married?" she asked out of curiosity, wondering if she could use it to her advantage.
Sure, Dylan thought that Scarlet was beautiful and such but wouldn't act on it. They were just two people that kept calling in favors on one another. He barely knew anything about her and she knew little about him. "I think so. He's got a ring on his ring finger." Dylan said with a shrug. He glanced over at her.
---
"I can find dirt on you that probably could get you fired if I really wanted to but that'd be a waste of time." Dylan replied. He ran a hand through his hair, watching her. "Depends on what it is and why..." He told her, sighing. If it was something that didn't feel like a complete waste of time, he might do it.
