((Each person gets a box that opens for only them and contains a miniature version of their favourite food))
(( Yeah I got that
I meant what Drew and Kade are gonna do because we haven't exactly decided yet who has the box ))

((Hmmm...))
Valerie waved her wand and Drew dropped the box at Kade's feet. Another box appeared in Drew's arms.
((If that bugs you bc of any power play, lemme know and I'll fix it. Just a temporary solution :/ ))

"I guess you guys don't believe in Bigger is Better..." Valerie muttered, dusting off her jacket.

//I want to elaborate on that but I can think of it at six in the morning

Darius chuckled and shook his head. "Engorgio! Engorgio!"
His cupcake grew and he smiled down at it.
His cupcake grew and he smiled down at it.
"Yummy indeed," he agreed with a grin, moving his gaze from the cupcake to her. "Would you like a piece?"
He couldn't help but chuckle as he broke off a piece of the cupcake, holding it out for her to take. "I promise it's not poisoned," Darius replied with a grin.

Professor Valerie Nougatt sighed. "Earlier than most." She said, looking around the relatively empty classroom

Vi ran in panting, "Am" her heart was racing as she had just ran down the hall, "I," her breath finally slowed down to a more normal rate, "Late? Am I late?" She asked in a slighty embarrassed tone.
Writing Pant, Panted, 5 times doesn't add to the post, feels like filler, also, you can write in the style of a book.
((You can be, we just don't have a lot of people on right now. So places like here, Katie's office, and the RoR, you probably won't end up having anyone respond in.))

Professor Nougatt shrugged. "I mean, it isn't exactly out of the ordinary for this place, y'know?" She paced back and forth between the rows of desks. "I'd like to start class soon, but there's not many people here."

Valerie tried to make conversation with the student. "How have your studies been coming along, dear?" She asked, eyeing the girl. "I hear Defense Against the Dark Arts has been great fun this year."

"Are you talking about that girl Vi?" Darius questioned, walking into the classroom and taking a seat not too far from Nine. "I was talking to her in the Great Hall and she was going on about something that doesn't even matter, and suddenly she's just gone," he huffed, seeming to be annoyed by the whole ordeal. Professor Jasmine had made him give the girl a tour of the school, as well as listen to her problems, all for nothing.

"It's probably one of those wizard plagues or something." Valerie added with a shrug. "Who knows. Everyone here has some weird backstory." ((Oh I said it.))
((True story, though. Everyone does have a weird backstory.))
"Be happy you didn't have to listen to her story," Darius grumbled. He swiveled in his seat so that he was facing his left and propped his feet up on the desk that was now in front of him. He pulled out his wand from his pocket and twirled it aimlessly between his fingers, not paying it much mind. "Wizard plague," he repeated with a laugh, talking more to himself than to anyone else.

"Do either of you have a preference as to what we learn in class today?" Valerie pulled out a notebook of lesson plans and began scribbling madly in the margins.

Darius's gaze immediately snapped up to the new girl, and a look that resembled a mixture of surprise and weariness played across his features. Eventually he settled on a smirk of sorts and continued to twirl his wand between his fingers. "Do we have another new girl?" he asked curiously, raising an eyebrow.
"No, they don't," Darius replied, sounding almost disappointed. He stopped twirling his wand and let his feet fall from their place on the desk in front of him. Lately it was depressing how empty the castle seemed. Where had everyone gone?

"Or..." Professor Nougatt started, "we could start class soon." She winked and began thumbing through her lesson plans. "Ooh..." She mumbled, "this will be fun."
Darius glared at Nine, the expression on his face making it clear that he wasn't amused. "I'd really rather not," he replied dryly, hardly noticing the look of horror on the new girls face. "I was forced to do it last time, but I certainly won't be forced to do it again." His gaze slowly moved up to Professor Nougatt, a smirk making its way onto his face as she suggested starting class. "When was the last time we had a successful class period?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow.
