Post-Apocalyptic Series

So I have a series comprised of 2 short stories and 1 novel. I'm looking for a few people to read through them and let me know if they follow what is actually going on. The thing is in the novel the plot really unfolds and it's a bit twisted. I just want to make sure I'm not losing anyone.
