I thought Jonathan Rhys Davies (think that's his name previously played in the series on Henry the VIII) played a wonderful understated Dracula and loved the women in the series too.
It did make me laugh how old Dracula was trying to fit into English society back when they were very snobbish on letting Americans in, and Drac trying so hard to get into the "group".
Some of their science and technology at the time I think was over done as they weren't that far ahead and that's where they might have lost some people.
But it was fun to watch after Grimm instead of Dateline or another news show!
