is it only me, or do others also feel this way? when i read it i have the Feeling that he thinks i m just jarhead... i cant stand it.

It's been a few years since I read it but I am wondering if the translation may be worded a little bit differently from the original. I see it is out there in Russian and English. I read the German original and I don't recall feeling that way.
But then again, I sometimes feel like everybody in this world is a jarhead and so it wouldn't surprise me if he is feeling the same way. hahahaha :)
